  1. Id love a get to gether. We can get together at my father in laws shop and put my car back together. Its Heated, and dry.
  2. MWE. Enough said. I know enough to know you dont buy from them because lots of people have to much trouble. Get a reman MWE axle shipped to you.
  3. Sill, if you got it for 500 bones would it be that bad.
  4. I dont like to use these these new fanagled terms. But man that was epic.
  5. Update, so after battling mother nature while hitting a snow patch on the way home last night i busted the already bad fromt CV shaft and had to limp home in RWD. Which sucks because with no weight in the back i might as well been banging my head against the wall. Got hung up 2 times. Rocked out the 1st time but the 2nd i had a nice guy in a plow truck pull me out so i didnt half to dig. Bruised and battered guido made it home, but didnt have any more fight to pull into its regular parking spot. A humbling day to say the least.
  6. Dont know if you check this our your email regularly but i got a ups quote today of 140 to ship. Just so you know its 30 more then i predicted to you but thats what ups says. Im a honest guy so i want you to know im not makeing a buck on this. I paid 120 bucks for these 2 years ago and havent done anything with them. Let me know what you want to do.

  7. Not to be picky but could you make a bumper like the picture above with some metal filled in under the taillights. It just bugs me theres a huge gap there.
  8. If wireing wasnt such a big hastle for me this would of been one of the 1st swaps i would of done. Lots to be said for more power even for a regular 13inch wheel non lifted daily commuter car.
  9. If its the 2.8 then thats ok but if its the 4.3 then thats awsome. Its a good engine and if its got the 700r then its really something. If it has t tops check the seals they like to leak. If it has cold air intakes or fancy exhause be aware the a kid might of had it and tried to race it up. the 4.3s arent slow but i dont think fast enough to get you in trouble. I would steer them away from this car if they live in a snowy region and drive in the winter months. These can be fun cars to have but most have been beat up buy there previous owners. Insurcance will want to know if its an rs, z28, etc etc. Othern then this stuff, its a pretty straightforward rwd chevy. Good Luck.
  10. I think part of the problem was his back seat on his new ss is pretty nice and might look strange if you cant make them match.
  11. LOL i havent had one of those in a long time. Correction, had one last night. Yummy
  12. Honestly a 5 speed gt wagon is a pretty awsome thing. It can be parted out for more then 500 bones. I would buy it back, you could get it working again. Things need to dry out first. Im sure it would run again.
  13. If your going to do any type of offroading you want some sort of agressive tire. Its worth the investment. You could do it with a less agressive tire or a passanger tire but your asking for trouble. One of my favoret lines is (You can drive a car with your feet but that dont make it a good ******* idea) Lots of threads on here with lifting legacys with outback stuff. Im sure theres tire stuff on them as well.
  14. Most people who run ea82s (from what i read). If you run a 3 inch lift you run a 2 inch crossmember blocks to reduce the angle and you need a stearing extension. If you just run a 2inch lift you need none of this but i guess i thought running 1inch cross member blocks would cut down the extreme angles of the front struts a bit. And since it wasnt any more then an inch i would be ok with no steering mods. How much for the blocks. But let me double check my hypothesis.
  15. Get a mud terrain tire, you wont regret it. 27 x 8 x 14
  16. I didnt really want to mess with the extension. There have been some who have said you dont need the extension. I know you dont need the 1inch but i noticed the cv shaft destroying itself rapidly with it being at that extreme angle. I just thought 1 inch would ease some of the stress off of it. Hell maybe i should do 2 inch since i want 3 inch strut tops at one point.
  17. Even just 1 inch. Yes i have the 2 inch already.
  18. Looking for 2 1inch square lift blocks for ea82 with the holes predrilled and bolts to go with. Price plus shipping to 50266. Also the car has a 2 inch lift already. Would it be beneficial to me to go 2 inches on this as well or is that to extreme and i would need to extend steering arm and stuff like that. Sorry these are the ones that go under the engine crossmemeber.
  19. Put my taurus in the ditch yesterday. Today with alittle digging and a good tug from the subaru she came out. I think ill still keep driving it for a while.
  20. Kind of suprised no one spoke up. Doesnt matter, guy had to go to work. Warmed up his car and tossed a rod out the block.
  21. If yesterday you start your vehicle and everthing is fine. But today when you start it up it seems to be chugging Could it be so cold that the oil is solid or tar like. And if it is, how do you fix this. Is it safe to start the vehicle and get the oil to loosen up or will that damage the motor.
  22. Put my taurus in the ditch today so i had to unbury guido. I was dredding this because its super cold here and Guido has hardly any heat. Get to work and me and my boss start fiddling around with the car. He says, just try this old trick and puts some cardboard infront of the air condenser for the air conditioner blocking the super cold air from hitting the radiator. WALA It isnt super burn your butt off hot but it makes the drive so much more enjoyable. Now im going to attempt in the next few days to get my taurus out of the ditch its in. I think guido could pull him out.
