I am almost convinced i dont have a bad wheel bearing now, probally just a really bad belt on the tire or something. There is a pretty good noise from the nobbys but no rubbing in back now. It does rub a bit when i turn but not bad. Yes considerably less noisy when driveing. No one told me how drastically change my car though. 5th gear is pretty much useless. Basically it drives like a 4 speed car now. Though with the wider stance it handles better.

Thinkin you want to lisen to GD man. -
Sweet 3eyed, cant wait. Here are some updated shots and a shot of the problem i had last night. I beat the heck out of the wheel well and they fit better now. Sadly to say Guido days are numbered. I cant see him lasting more then 3 years max. The body rust is really really bad. Groved the tire a bit but its hardly noticeable.

Minimal cutting will work for street driveing but with bad shocks as soon as you hit a bump. Funny thing happened on the way home fromwork tonight (buy the way everyone was stunned). Hit the railroad tracks which snagged a bit of the quarterpannel which bent it over the tire which then wedged itself against it. So driving 1mph home to the sound of braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa wasnt very fun but i only had a few blocks to go. Needless to say after the snow melts tomorrow or sunday im going to pull that tire off and bash the metal into submission. I didnt want to cut it but mick kept saying this is what we do this is what we do. and i wanted to be special also so i went against my better judgement. What i really need now is a lift boys.

86 Subaru GL wagon transmission

Before you even start getting your pretty little head wraped around the idea of adding a turbo on your car im going to say NO. Trust me, i mean really im not jerkin ya around. Its way to complicated to swap over and even if you do the gain is very limited. You are on your way buy swaping the tranny over to manual but please for got sake leave the engine alone until you can upgrade to ej22. Then youve got something there. Has more power then the turbo and loads more reliable (hence you can beat on it more and not worry about it having catastrophic failure). Sorry GD i had to beat you to the punch. Ben -
Ive tried to explain this to him but hes kinda excentric because hes only had it for a few months and its had nothing but problems. The mechanic said he would pull the motor and replace the clutch or fix whatever was wrong with it. But he said he woudl also do a timeing belt job, hg job and reseal the few oil leaks he had for 2000 bucks. After that he pretty much would have a reliable vehicle. Hes moving to colorado so i told him the awd woudl be superior in that type of climate but he doesnt think so. I think hes just going to have them fix whatever is wrong with the tranny then try to sell it. Hes going to be out of money but hes paranoid its going to become a money pit.
