Walker Pics!!! Biggest meet for Walker EVER!!!!
The Dude Abides replied to one eye's topic in Off Road
You are way to afraid to take your brat on a trail like that. -
Is it just me, or are people makeing this harder then it needs to be. I thought all you needed to do was raise your car off the ground. Allow the front wheels to hang free. Unbolt the top of the strut from the car so it hangs down a bit with the suspension. Stuff in the lift blocks then reassemble with longer bolts and your done. No i havent done this lift before but from what oneeyes descriptions are it seems bout that easy.

There are write ups on here about doing redrilling. Redrilling for 4 - 5 - and 6 lug. Some are more difficult then others. Keep trying the search function, you will find what you seek. -
One way good sir.

Rear Washer Tank
The Dude Abides replied to The Dude Abides's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I guess its safe to assume that the tank is more then likely behind that wheel well pannel. Looks like a pain in the butt to take off. Yea the bottom of my hose wasnt attached to anything, but i need to check it out. Would be nice to have that this winter. -
How and where can i access this. I tried to get it to work tonight, the pump still pumps. Turned it on and it puked it all out the quarter pannel. Somethings not hooked up. Oh and a side question. Anyone have a good way to stick the interior pannels back under the rubber seal around the glass. Ben

EA82T into a EA82 loyale?
The Dude Abides replied to brysawn's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Good sir, i have 200k on the original motor in my car. Saying this will happen again is kinda a shot in the dark. Sure it might happen again, then it might now. What you can do is throw a cheep motor in there for now so you got transportation. Then do the work yourself, its not that hard. Especially if you dont need that engine to run your car. If you dont have a place to do it then thats one thing. If i were you i would save my money for something else like a nice legacy. I like my loyale but it isnt the greatest for somethings. Your kinda dumping alot of money into something not worth that much. I love my car but im not spenging 1200 bucks for a motor to go into a 500 dollar car. Just saying and not bashing, believe me. If youve got that much to spend then why not go legacy shopping. Might not run into so many problems. I never did catch where you are from. -

The Dude Abides replied to brysawn's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Dude you can pick up a used engine for 500 bucks or less depending on where you are. Spend the day putting it in yourself and your golden. If your a poor college student, think like one.
