  1. Turning. Meaning they basically put it on a lathe and make the surface even again.
  2. OH yea break rotors warp. My wifes caravan rotors were terrrible. You could tell they were warped just buy them sitting on the van. You could se the spots where it was brakeing and not.
  3. Ok soooome thing interesting. I go to check out my pugs and i realize why im not likeing them. The pug on the driverside sticks out further then the one on the passanger side. Upon further inspection i see that there are 2 different brake drums on the car. Very strange indeed. Its only tempory until i get the 2 stock ones painted up and put back on. And ive got a set of discs to install on the back so that will get rid of the drum problem. Ill figure it out eventually.
  4. Im working on my factory wheels so i put 2 of my newly aquired pugs on the back. The 1st thing i noticedis that it handles like a go kart. Which is what i wanted. But they stick out so darn far from the wheelwells the visual aspect sucks. tire size is 195-60-14. I like the size wheels the loyale put on his wagon but im not liftin. Whats a guy to do.
  5. Can you do something like a factory a bar. Maybe tie something into the subframe and get it away from the body. I think some people might just say, why not mount them to the bumper. Another problem i can see being a problem is blocking the entire grill. Others will chime in. But i do like where your going with this.
  6. What exhaust shop u taking it to. I recomend terrys in WDM. Does great work and does custom welding....
  7. Ive hosed down the undercarrage twice. Sprayed the engine twice. Ive toasted my clutch cable. I cant even get the body clean enough to paint it lol ive got to scrub. Ill never, ever do that again with my daily driver.
  8. G Sus there is alot of sand and dirt and mud still on my car. How do you guys drive your cars after doin this stuff. Mine barely went down the road.
  9. Well i dotn know about the bedliner deal but the rest looks great. Keep the pics coming.
  10. sure and about 1000 dollars more as well. Again do research on this.
  11. Yea i was curious about the bedliner thing also. There is a thread on this very subject on this board. It can and does work. It wont fade any faster then any other cheepo rattle can paint job. So maybe he has to touch it up in 5 years. It will still be cheeper then a regular paint job.
  12. im still waiting for the easy part. How are the newer old gen wagons easier.
  13. Yea your right gd its still not operating correctly. It cleared up most of it but it doesnt feel the same as it did so yea going to need replaced. Ill drive it like this for a bit though. Anyone got a writeup on how to replace these things.
  14. 6 anyways im just off 235 in west des moines ia. i can lend a hand if need be.
  15. Its sure gonna look different when i get my camera back.
  16. You ever get the feeling that after we break peoples hearts about these old econobox wagons they just go and sell them or beat them until they die for being useless for there desires.
  17. Ok GD some oldschool car guy at work told me to spray some wd40 or pbblast into the clutch cable sleeve to free up the grit. I was aprehensive but he told me he would buy me a new cable if it didnt work. And it did. My question to you and the board is this just a tempory fix and it will snap anyways from what might still be in it. Or could this of cured my problem. He told me to keep doing that every once a while for a couple of days to make sure the stuff all got out.
