No i guess what i was asking is that since there is pressure in the system that means the system could still hold refrigerant. I had the belt hooked up until it broke a few months ago. It blew hot air, i was just asking if this was a good way to see if the system was still complete.

Im not doubting you GD but the fan is no where near the compressor, how can it cool it.

Yea i am awsome arent i. But if it wont fit in there then i wont get one. The thing about my ashtray is that, 1 i dont use it and 2 it slides out when i hit the gas hard so phhaa i dont need it. I bet it would be deep enough to fit but i need to measure at least now deep that hole is before i go spoutin out clames of the foutain of youth.

Sorry EA82 twitch. But what does that fan half to do with the ac system since it obviously doesnt help cool the car. Ive been wanting to replace the t-stat for a while but once again its on the backburner.

When i first got them they were white and rusty. I threw a quick black coat on them so they would mesh but as you can see they didnt last very long. Lots of prep this time, they shouldnt peal. Yours look good, though ill admit im not a big fan of the gold but hey whatever trips your trigger.

Yea, i had about 4 hours total prep time for my wheel but i had to do it in increments. Then i put 3 coats of primer on both sides and 3 coats of Gloss Black. Dam last coat laid down wrong and i got airbubbles in the paint. So 2000 grit sand paper and another coat and turned out pretty good. I can only do mine 1 wheel at a time though since im driveing the car. from this. to this.

What is the purpose of this thing. When i had my green wagon with the bad t stat it didnt help cool the engine one bit when i drove it home. When my t stat is sticky in the white car it doesnt seem to keep the car any cooler until the t stat kicks on. If this thing is pretty much useless on keeping the car cool im dumping it. But since im trying to get my ac possibly working is this necessary to have or could i replace it with another electric one. Not that it will fit there, but i might make something work.

I just checked my ac unitin my car and its complete and still holding pressure. Is it still holding pressure an accurate diagnosis that it is still solid and leak free. Also if it is still good how can i recharge it if theyve outlawed that type of freon. Im not that into paying loads of money to convert the system.

The only thing i do not like about this cb is that it doesnt have the weather band stations. But i like the clean slick look. it would provide if it fits where i want.

I bought a set of these tires with rims. Im not blameing the person who sold it to me:grin: but does anyone else have these tires. They are loud, i dont remember my brothers mud tires being this loud. Ive only really started noticeing this since my exhaust got fixed. Theyve been good for 2 years not falling apart or anything but sheesh. I found some yokahamas and falkins in 13 inch sizes. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I know i dont know your car up close, but how bad could the restoration be. It doesnt look near as bad as bucky or rocky. But it could be expensive either way. The paint doesnt look bad, just maybe a rough up and respray kinda job. Make sure they wetsand it real good. OH and buy the way, who restores a prelude.

With all due respect i had the 1.8 talon and when i did there was no aftermarket following. It was a decent engine but started burning oil at 70k. 2.0 is the ones you build up. But you know that. As far as yoru rx goes listen to these people. You can make the little guy a real snot rocket if you take your time. But you arent going to be able to do that with the current engine. You can always find a wrecked sti and put the goodies in there. Because you can.
