Had my dash repaired due to a unauthorized radio removal. Now the lights under the control buttons are sometimes on and sometimes off. When the lights work so do the buttons. When the lights don't light the vents won't switch from say dash vents to defrost or floor heater. Could this just be a loose wire somewhere when the body shop reassembled the dash? They did screw up and connected the wires under the dash that caused my CEL to flash. Do the lights and the movement of the vents go together or is it just a coincidence? Hopefully it's something simple. 97 legacy

It was the green connectors. TYVM for the help. -
Long story short. Paasenger window smashed. Radio yanked out. Love loiving outside the crappiest city in Pennsylvania. Insurance paid to fix window and torn dash. Just picked the car back up and the CEL is flashing. Used the search button but didn't find anything. What can cause this? Does something need to be reset?

Boy, wasn't that just the biggest PITA thing to change. Getting it out was cake compared to try to get the new sensor threaded into place. No room, large fingers. Finally after 10 min it caught and turned right in. A quick tightening, rout the wire and connect... done. Don't feel like doing that again any time soon. Thanks for the advice.
