  1. Wow,how the hell did he know that???

    Anyway whats up??

  2. Hello, bratman dropped your name as someone who may have some vacuum bagging and composite experience - can I pick your brain?

  3. Yupper!! And i still want video of someone striping an axle nut by hand Hell - i'll give you 3 feet of pipe.
  4. Give that a good try and report back Also - i dont think anyone said anything about standing on the breaker bar while weighing 200 pounds, the 2 feet of pipe is just to make getting it real tight - real easy.Even if you did do this....think about it - not all torque will ever make it to the nut, first the bar and or pipe will bend and soak some up,then the wheel will move slightly and the tire will start to compress.I dont doubt that an impact capable of 800# could do it but not your arm.Not to mention it was a rhetorical statement to start with.
  5. Ohhhh..of course.Sorry about that, makes more sense now i guess. Yea we suck lol
  6. That info is questionable. 7. As stated- yes you COULD over tighten, are you going to? doubt it.Give it a whirl- and see if you can strip the threads or crush the bearing!.Ive personally done Hmmmm... a hundred by tightening the bejeesus out of them, the only time ive seen a problem is when they dont get tight enough!
  8. Problem is Nissan typically uses r180 or bigger,no one cares about the r160 (for good reason really) Subaru really should have used r180's from the start.
  9. Sorry for not enough details. The engine is being planned for insertion into a datsun 280z.The eg33 will be turboed and it will be in the front not the rear.Obviously it will also not be all wheel drive and it will also obviously need to be stronger than a converted subaru 5 speed. The rx7 thing seems pretty promising and i am going to be working on getting an answer. Not sure if anyone will care but i will definitely post the results at some point.
  10. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any info regarding matching a subaru eg33 to any rwd trans.I am not looking for bolt on,but simply something that is possible. The engine will be going into a non subaru project car that needs to be rwd.I have read somewhere that a 3rd gen rx7 can be adapted to fit,can anyone confirm or deny this?
  11. Please help us help you with more information!! "New" would imply that it just came over on a boat from japan in a sealed crate. If this is the case dont take it apart lol.
  12. I guess this is a good place to post my unfinished website. One of the only things that i have actually finished is my step by step on lifting an ea82 tha way i did. http://www.subazero.com.
  13. First ive seen of this thread but man that is sweet, good job!
