  1. Yeah, We saw this a while back when he first listed. I made a post in off topic. Me and I believe it was GeneralDisorder both told him not only was he wrong, but the "Knowledgable Ebayer" was also wrong. Guy sounds like a dork. Car is in California. Has dents, But still worth 800 or whatever it was when I last looked. Boz
  2. I think it is strange why they would do that. Why don't they just join our board???? Why waste time/effort copying???
  3. Man, I sure wish I could make it. I love it up there. Paul, you will be cutting through where I grew up. (exit 35 on RT 80...Bloomsburg, Pa) Nice area for family, wheeling, outings, car shows etc......
  4. it'll make it run like crap! and if you get enough in there, look out for overheating parts (pistons etc...) because the water and oil do not mix. Then, there's always the worry of internal rust which could scar your cylinders. (This is worse case scenario) Boz
  5. I have used the C clamp many many times, Never had a problem, Plus they don't get lost easily like a little box tool does. But overall, Like I said in the other post, If you can afford to buy the tool that is specific to the job you will be doing then buy it. 4 bucks aint much, even for my broke, unemployed a$$!
  6. Yep they make a weird looking little tool to turn them in or you could just use a large C-clamp and squeeze it in. Boz
  7. I agree, and I also have a question. What are you gonna do about rain and/or carwashes since you have a metal duct straight to the weber. How are you gonna get rid of the water? Boz
  8. Ken, I see the 'yoda rims but what kind of sneakers are you wearing?
  9. Those ARE cool! Are they signed by John Gotti himself??? Ha Ha Ha
  10. Thanks Shawn, Cleaned up that thing is like brand new. Maybe I should sell it. BTW, How the heck do you post a pic in here? Boz
  11. It's my understanding that the backing plates from the 2wd and 4wd are the same. The only difference is the hubs because we need the hubs from a 4wd car. But hey, What do I know, Mine are still sitting on a shelf.....
  12. Yeah, I once had a similar problem too, It was a vacuum line. Took me forever and a damn day to find it. Strange that it was intermittant. It also made for hard starting at times. Boz
  13. I found (In someone's pile for the trashman) a genuine Subaru cooler. It looks like it can fit a six pack and has 2 cup holders. It appears that it should fit over top of the rear portion of a console but yet it has a handle so that you can take it with you. I think it's cool but I wonder what model it came from. Anyone know? I have a pic but I don't know how to post it to the board. Anyone want to host a pic for me? Boz
  14. The cruise wasn't modified, the car was. As for the CC, let me see if I can find it then we can talk price. I don't want your kidney because I am not Subaru however, this is expensive to buy and is brand new with instructions. We will talk a fair price. I am not gonna use it so I might as well sell it. Boz
  15. Borrowing a plate.....That's all I ever do...ha ha ha . As long as you don't do anything stupid and you know the car will make it to where you are going them I say I am all for it. I do it all the time, Hell I have driven through many states with false plates just to get a car home. Then, whenever I feel like it, I swap the title. As for the trouble you will getin if caught, ALOT!!! Boz
  16. What do you want to know about PA laws? The way he has the title will be fine. Bring it to the notary and as long as you tell them you paid 800 or less the other guy doesn't have to be there. That title still has the original owner's name. Car has to be registered to be insured. When transferring the title you must register it. If you don't want to do that just yet just bring it home do your work then do the title transfer. I hope this answered your question. Looks pretty nice huh? Well for 800 bucks it's damn nice! Boz
  17. For the record, you will not always hear the fuel pump. My old gray BRAT was completely silent and it ran GREAT! My red one that I have now that looks almost identical to yours Mick (Except mine's an 86) has a loud fuel pump. Boz
  18. Here's the guy's number: (609)387-8068 It's an 89 XT6 AWD, Pwr everything, auto, 169,000 miles, but he told me the previos owner rebuilt the engine at 8x,xxx miles. 1 owner car. This guy never titled it. Tell him the guy driving the green Jetta referred you and said $800.00. Boz
  19. I won't make it but I want to make a recommendation for a place to eat if you all go out together. The Country Cupboard. That place has great food and the price is reasonable. (I haven't been there in years) but I am sure nothing's changed. Then just south of there, same road, there's a guy who sells old mopars across from the flea market. (For those who may be interested) Boz
  20. Actually, I did mean clap/herpes.etc... What the heck is a subaru std?
  21. Hey Mick, You already said that! No wonder you have so many total posts......Just bustin your chops man!
  22. I have an older one if someone needs it. I think I have all the stuff. I can't remember because I also have a newer one that I am keeping. One has everything and one almost does.....I dunno If someone needs an older one for like 35 bucks let me know
  23. Since it's raining here and I can't go look, what do I need to do to make my front marker lights be my turn signals? It's not just plug and play is it? I have to splice the wires don't I? Anyone know? Yes, I am pretty sure it's illegal (Well, hell they are already red) I have an old "RooBar" which came off of a car with the turn signals up next to the lights, My (86)BRAT is different. Otherwise, I have to fab up some brackets and stuff. Boz
