It's hard to tell what color the interior is. At first glance it appears to be black, but there are hints of blue. Can't go wrong either way.

Greenley replied to Gloyale's topic in Products for your Subaru
That's a 3" lift, + OB suspension, on the red LegWag ? -
Concensus on why my Weber's acting up?
Greenley replied to ezapar's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Sounds like mine. My float mechanism is set up perfect. Yours is pretty much brand new too, right Zap? -
:slobber: Not bad for a side project. What i'd do to get my paint code 255 GL-10 wagon back.... (not implying this was mine, only i that i had one just like it)
-
anything else fit into rear of EA81 wagon, that has been attempted?
-
Go with the EA82 manifold if you have that option. Jet size is stamped on each jet. Check everything, seeing as it was used for a VW application. Realistically you should only have to worry about the Main, Air corrector, and idle jets. But ya never know.
-
A standard EA81 adapter plate from redline will work fine. You should definitely open it up and check the jetting, most likely you'll need to rejet. I got a BRAND new in box 38/38 for $25.00, did you get a better deal than that?

205/75/14 on Peugeot steelies No lift, no bashing, minor front fender trim/roll. No rubbing. 27x8.5x14 Kumho M/T on Chevy Luv wheels 3" lift, lots of trimming/bashing, rubs in the rear (shocks are toast)

Greenley replied to casm's topic in Transmission, Axle, and Brakes
I went from pure slop to an as new tightness, with this method. A+ stuff. -
I'd like to see how many still exist. No picture, no proof

Heh, i tried to buy that same wagon up here, but the seller backed out. Best wishes with the claim. I hate seeing this kind of stuff

6 lug conversion questions

You could probably get away with a few HSS bits, if you go slow and use plenty of cutting oil. -

If you have rear discs(hopefully), drill the front hubs first. They're much easier to find in case you do botch the job. Just my $$.02 -
I'm hoping since this is on Washo Tribe land that it will be a different scenario, but i doubt it. I'm gonna call the # tomorrow and see what they're all about.

What's the right price? That's hot

How does that work in cali ?

So i was puttin' out around the indian res. in the sand pits, when i came across this nice looking hatchback sitting amongst a bunch of junkers. I'm gonna fandangle a way to save it. Too nice to rot out in the desert.
-
This definitely sounds like the way to do it. Aherns? That's where i rented a tranny jack. Best prices around, but any money i scrounge is going straight to numbchux for the wiring harness. I'm pretty tempted now...

You should have heard it fire up! Now that was awesome to hear. Dave finished the cutting with 3 sawzall blades. Speaking of adapter plates, i just scored an SJR plate -

Yea, the EJ slid right in with hardly an issue. By the time i left it was running, the diff lock was hooked up, and they were finishing up the passenger side 5 lug stuff. -

Welp welp welp, Lots to absorb from the genius that is Suberdave. Nice to meet you, for sure! Got to help a little with Jibs' brat. I hold a mean flashlight :-p BTW why aren't you on the EJ swap list yet??? Brian, it was nice to see you for a few hours. Hopefully you're feeling better. JB of course, thanks for the habanero salsa treat, and putting me up for a couple nights. Too cool. The wagon didn't let me down on the ride home, doing 55 uphill, although i barely made it up Jibs' driveway the day before... so frustrating. -
I understand that it is not ideal, a picker would be much better, and i'll probably go that route, just wanted to consider y'alls thoughts on the subject matter But, it looks like Connie has actually done it, and that's cool. If it's anything like the N/A 2.2 that Suberdave (or Jibs) and I lifted, it was actually quite light. I could have been running off pure adrenaline, though. I reallllly wanted to see that thing in Jibs' Brat They're 2x6, 18 inches apart. Bucky92, if you have some time in the near future, could you describe how you've done it? I've got a few idears, but i'd be interested in the tried and true (hint hint ... pics )

Anyone ever use their garage rafters to pull an engine out? Light motors, like EA81's or a 2.2 EJ. Mine are 2x6's, in good solid shape. I can stand up there and jump up and down with little effect (i'm 205 lbs.). Flame On
