  3. Im really into this build the next week ill be reading up all i can on it. Standalone systems were mentioned by my instructor which is why i said something. do you know of anyone that as decently modified one (frankenmotor) like cams, port n polish (regardless of what one might say the gains are) ect like a complete system upgrade fuel spark flow... i just wanted to know numbers i know GD built one but i dont remember the numbers you are on to something good myfriend

  6. Has anyone done a auto window/door lock swap on a brighton?
  7. do you do custom work?
  8. in this public fourm i asked for to keep the negative bs to a minimum. If a guy drops 10k into his rig the last thing he will wanna hear is ************ like "get your money back youve been f****d" or "nice shocks, thats about it though" i mean why even say anything at all how about leave the public fourm part for questions that pertain to the ride. not 'your s**t sucks' and id wait to criticize a design till its done.. in my eyes common sense isnt playin a factor in some of these guys lives. everyone also talks about how its gonna fail when i know they have never had a custom 4 link made to speak from experience.. anyways i can take criticism its just annoying when its repeated over and over after asking people to just watch and enjoy. some stupid f*** always has to say something regardless of what anyone has to say ill have it posted on my facebook for those that wanna follow the build
  9. 200 lbs of nito for each shock shock shaft is 7/8" in diameter
  10. i can make you real busy if yould like.. with all these wyotech dudes doin swaps n stuff im sure a few would be interested in your work:) oh and i have updated pics on my build thread in the offroad section.. all i need now is the clutch disk (they sent the wrong one so im in the return process) after i get the disk the tranny will go in and ill have more pics up thank you for everything bill ill post the adapter to tranny pics on here as soon as its in there
  11. i start school tomorrow i cant wait till im allowed to use the tube benders and welders... ill be doing some of my own fine tuning on the chassis to make everything as "tight" as possible without sacrificing strength and mobility. (like mod the cross-member) Dave says the subaru should be sittin about as high as it is on the blocks:grin: Ill be taking a second year at this school chassis modification

  14. wooo touched a nerve. just cause i can put ALOT MORE money (have someone build it for me) into my subaru doesnt mean i cant build it myself or know how to fix it.. its kinda hard to sit around and build a subaru when you have a family to support and your 7260 miles away doing just that. I can tell you almost everything about the project like what metals were used how thick they are what grade nuts bolts and washer what thread type. what kinda filler was used for the welds.. theres alot i know and alot im gonna learn im no just gonna hop in it and go im gonna check it out and really see whats goin on.. say what you want its not like you have ANYTHING built this custom to this level of QUALITY who am i tryin to prove myself to anyways? some dude on the internet.. who always TALKS.. I leave tomorrow for college to do high performance powertrains at wyotech im paying for it so i doubt ill learn anything or know how to fix ************ on the trail:rolleyes: Im not tryin to become your enemy just defending myself.
