  1. OK, I started pairing Subarus and snowboards at least 15 years ago. And only now does it become cool?
  2. Rguyver does a nice CNC cut one. I think he's got a few in stock right now. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=77490
  3. Dunno. He said it was kinda rough looking. Well, compared to mine anyways.
  4. Who was in Nelson, BC in the last week or two? One of my buddies just told be today that he saw a lifted rig here with OR plates recently.
  5. I'd show a pic of mine, but some numbnuts took the sticker off and polished the cover. BTW, any ETA on this Andy?
  6. .... please make people understand why I want $1200 brakes on my $1800 car. Seriously, though - nice setup.
  7. They are not the same. In fact, the STI key is different than most Legacy keys, as well. (search NASIOC if you don't believe me). If an STI key works in your EA-82, you locks and ignition switch are all work badly. More power to you, I guess - but usually almost any similar key will open and start the car when they get to that point, in my experience (started my '83 wagon with my dad's VW Golf key, IIRC).
  8. I've got an STI blank on my desk, and a standard blank for our '02 Forester. I'm planning on modding the standard blank and transferring the mods that work to the STI blank. So far, it looks like the STI one is too thick (can't find my vernier calipers right now), and the groove is not wide enough (looks like the groove spacing is pretty close, though. I'll try and get this going, and let you know what I find.
  9. I've been battling the same type issue for awhile. Everything I did seemed to make it a bit better, but it never goes away. I have a few other theories, but you experience helps. Mine's a Loyale SPFI 5 spd. I'm currently leaning towards a spark issue - possibly a bad cap or rotor (both are new, BTW). I've yet to try a replacement, though.
