thanks for the tips. the ride height light occasionally flashes while driving,but if you shut down and start up again, it goes away.While running,all four corners cycle up and down simultaneously.That why i was thinling that ,heres my air brakes experience talking,that theres may be a valve not seating properly. Gotta go ,super rooS engine is done and im off to pick him up.Apparently some interesting and fun things got bolted on during thr transplant!!!!!!!!!!

My air ride is cycling constantly,up,down,up,down.when ishut the caroff,i hear no leakage at the air shocks.Anyone have a solution for this or experienced this before?AND I WOULD RATHER NOT DO COIL OVERS,I DIG THE AIR RIDE!!!

superdoo dumped a head and head gasket,but I lucked out and scored a EA 82 t complete and in primo condition for 600 $can(350 usd),while im at it ill tear out the 2 1/2" straight pipe I fabbed and build up a 3" with a cherry bomb to piss off the honda crowd.One question,Any way I can free up some breathing room on the intake without disrupting the MAF or confusing the computer?maybe a better filter system and .........

blown shock?

For some reason,my ride height light (yes and it still works wonderfully)comes on when i shut the key switch off.Im starting to think this car is haunted or something,cause now im not sure i have a blown head gasket(previous post)but I do have 1 dying hole(60 psi). Now heres a theory.It seems like higher intake pressures gas up my cooling pressures (under boost) and vice versa at idle.Does coolant run anywhere in the intake manifold,or am I just reading too much into this and just have a good old fashioned bad head gasket.oh yeah,leak down tests were inconclusive at best.

I work on heavy equipment all week and the idea of doing a sh!tty job like resealing my engine on my days off doesnt appeal to me very much.Now if I had the $$ to hop it up or build a better engine,id be singing a way different tune. The engine is coming from a shop that I was refered to by a friend who has used them for 6 years,and has been on the level the whole time .The engine wasin a regular customers car until it was smoked in the rear end and written off. Of course ill ask for compression and oilpressure readings and minor oil leakage can be dealt with. I just want superroo back....

well,the engine has 320000 on it original,low but not terrible oil pressure(20 psi at hot idle) and leaks oil (1 pt 1000 km)

well,looks like a blown head gasket.Opinion,redo gaskets myself,or have a good shop drop in a good used engine for 8-900 bucks canadian(86 ea82t).Ithink for the time and trouble the replacement is a good idea as long as compression and oil pressure are good .They are going to let me keep my bad engine,including the turbo.

You might want to think about a cummins B3.9 or a Yanmar 3cyl,but you wont get highway performance out of either.I put a B 3.9 in a cj7 and it killed off road, but only did about 80 km/h on the road with stock gearing.Also,btoh of these options are EXTREMELY heavy,so you would have to beef up the front end.

I made a setof lens guards out of light gauge expanded metal and 1/4 rod and made room to mount them under the hood so when it pops,so do they.

Mine just goes BRRRRRAAAAAPPPPPP!!BRRRRRAAAAAPPPP!after i ripped the cat and muffler out today and fabbed in a pipe to a borla muffler my buddy had lying around.Killed the turbo lag too!!
