  1. heres a pic: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=3193&sort=1&cat=622&page=1
  2. A buddy of mine is running 27x9.50R15 SSR's on his EA81 hatch with a 4" lift, I think those are the ones you are talking about. Its very doable with moderate cutting/bashing of fenders. He loves 'em
  3. Morgan: Lesson learned: when your tail end starts swinging around because a tree is attached to your front fender you let the tree win. heh heh thanks, I can't tell if that is bits of forestry or my turn signal wires (I disconnect them offroad because they like to fall out) oh and the ocean incident numbchux dont know if you saw the original thread here but after dealing with saltwater for a month I decided it wasnt worth it and picked up the current wagon for 200.00 complete with a 86 BRAT hydro lifter engine, score! So the silver wagon is just a parts car now (still starts but electrical is corroded to all get out)
  4. thanks guys, Oh it was awhile back, I picked it up stock about a month after the ocean "incident" and swaped everything over, but havent had time to do anthing else until lately. Just got the lift and tires on last weekend in fact (it had some All-terrains and a 3" before that.
  5. Thought I would throw these on here since I haven't posted in days. right after the first run with the 4" lift and some 28.5" TSL's My OD Assault Wagon 5 speed, weber, custom 2.25 exhaust with a flowmaster and mangaflow cat, lights, mudrat bumpers, roof rack, my brush guard, CB, etc. and my new wallpaper (fender had an argument with a tree and had to be removed):
  6. Nice! cant wait to see em, maybe a teaser pic Eric? if you dont want to post it here my email is analog (at) gmail.com
  7. why dont you go to a used tire place and just buy some real rims. There is a place down the street thats extremely cheap. I got my spare 27" tire w/ a rim(already drilled out even) for 20.00.
  8. that is correct, subarus came from the factory w/ NGK plugs
  9. I will put up the rest soon but here is a few of the good ones: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=3145
  10. another vote for older soobs, but I think I would at least buy an one issue regardless, maybe more.
  11. Thats beautiful, I think well thought out/well executed modifications like that are awesome even if they use chevy/nissan/etc. parts great job!
  12. McBrat or Ed Dahl are the ones to talk to. Im sure Mick will pop in here sooner or later

  14. lol @ turbone & Spideyz oh and turbone: I had a shot of old crow (BLEECH, cheap whiskey) or 2 earlier in the day, but I was pretty sober by that point.
  15. yeah thats a good idea, did you notice the steering wheel in that pic?
  16. Boosted: it was pacific city Partsman: its time for a new drivers seat anyway that one was already chewed up pretty bad, and yes I wish I coulda got a pic of the expression on my face when we started bobbing with the current bushbasher: now that would be something to see subi81: Mike: i know i know I promised, but look at the bright side she is gonna be reborn, bigger better and stronger! here is me giving her a car wash (if you can call it that) LOL this one is blurry because of all that steam
  17. I think even a wagon would float if you had all the holes sealed so water couldent get inside, mine maintained buoyency (sp?) for about a minute or so, until it was full of water. on that note the trunk had less than 6 inches of water in it (vs. the 3 feet in the rest of the car) so if you want something to stay dry thats the place to put it. My backpack with my VERY expensive digital camera was sitting on top of my spare back there and was bone dry, in fact I pulled it out and took those pics with it
  18. you got it, John i will be home at 4:00 today, give me a call after that, I will bring the phone outside while I am spraying her off.
  19. you know I actually thought about that, if I had a snorkel I just might try it.
  20. lol! it doesnt have to pay taxes does it? oh yeah and I hosed the exterior including the engine bay and underbody off as soon as I got home, today I am going to rip out the carpet and take out the seats and give the interior a good hosing.
