  1. well we already have all the stuff to convert it to 4wd, we just need to go pull it all out.
  2. well its no longer a nasty oxidized blue color, this baby SHINES!! The originaly clearcoat is still good underneath the oxidation and so we went to Wally World and picked up some rubbing compound and started to buff the baby back to life.
  3. I can make anything fit, just gimme a welder and a cutting torch:D No Aftermarket seats won't bolt right in but if you had brackets made, they would. What kind of seat are you look at putting it? I might be able to help out and make the brackets for ya and ship them to you for very reasonable. My Brat has nothing left in it so it wouldn't be a problem for me to make them without having to pull the seats:D
  4. sounds good to me!!! I'll just drive 20 hours for the party and be back on Wednseday before my orientaion at Wally World at 2!!!
  5. lol I hate that whole buget thing, it sucks. Currently the Brat is stripped and I have no money to go get a frame for it. Thats the next step for me....... But at least LUVMYBRAT said he could mediablast the whole unibody for free:D So I'll be that much closer to painting it!
  6. Paul is a great guy, even for us guys on the west coast! Glad yo got to meet such a wonderful person. I wish the world was filled with more people like him, he's GREAT!
  7. well sheeet, get on the ball!!! We wanna see some pics!!!
  8. Caleb, of course those rims will fit.....since I'm gonna tub the rear and the front:D Come on WJM, where's the pics???
  9. I love the up pipe!!! What size turbo is that BTW? It looks like the stock IHIRB5 but I'm not the best with identifying turbos...
  10. How about some 18"x8" rims? Mwahahaha Brat is gonna be pimpin with those size rims on it!!!
  11. Ehh John, I think he's talking about the diff hanger under his buggy..... Yeah I would have to agree with him though. Just cut a piece of steel thats the same contour as the originaly, weld it in place, then add anything you think might be nessessary:D
  12. ok here's what my gen 1 FSM reads... USA models: 2-door sedan (STD, 4GM) - A26L-209001 and after 2-door sedan (DL, 4GM) - A26L-409001 and after 2-door sedan (DL, AT) - A26L-732001 and after 4-door sedan (DL, 4GM) - A26L-507001 and after 4-door sedan (DL, 5GM) - A26L-662001 and after 4-door sedan (DL, AT) - A26L-612001 and after Coupe (DL, 5GM) - A26L-909001 and after Hardtop (GF, 5GM) - A26L-808001 and after Hardtop (GF, AT) - A26L-310001 and after Station Wagon (DL, 4GM) - A66L-710001 and after Station Wagon (DL, 5GM) - A66L-302001 and after Station Wagon (DL, AT) - A66L-612001 and after Station Wagon (4WD, 4GM) - A67L-010001 and after Canada Models: Sedan and Hardtop - A26L-050501 and after Station Wagon - A66L-100501 and after Station Wagon (4WD) - A67L-100501 and after 4GM - 4 speed (FWD or 4WD depending) 5GM - 5-speed (FWD) AT - Automatic (FWD) *NOTE* all of these models came with the EA71 1600cc motor and Hitachi 2 barrel carburator. If anyone needs like an engine number from any of these cars, lemme know I can tell ya what it is:D
  13. This is what I would be interested in for my Brat. A carbon fiber hood, fiberglass fenders, carbon fiber airdam and fiberglass fender flares. What I think would be cool is to get the flares molded into the front fenders and get the flares changed in the back so they mold into the car more. Just a few ideas and Galen, if you wanna do a hood, I have a spare hood if you need something to make a mold off of:D
  14. well I have the airdam and I'm planning on getting a copy of the flares made from carbon fiber and a remake of my airdam in carbon fiber so I can keep the original nice:D I think it'll look good on your ride garner but you'll have some competition coming for the ultimate minitrucked Brat.......mwahahahahahahaha!!!!
  15. DUDE, who owns the green gen 1 wagon????? YEAH!!!! I like the pics, I saw you perform at the show and holy crap:eek: what a monster!!!
  16. yeah it kinda makes me wanna cry. No one cares about us older generation people. Just think with the cars we have, if they were never made, where would be the Legacy, Forester, and the Outback?
  17. HOLY BEGEEZUS!!!! That is more pimp lookin then the green Brumby that had the full STi suspension, brakes, motor, tranny swap into it!!!
  18. Not quite sure yet. I don't want to be TOO flashy but I want it to be able to stand out when it drives down the road....Any suggestions on it? I'm thinkin a two tone yellow and black. From about 3/4 up the dorr to the bottm is yellow and the rest black. I'm also planning on redoing the interior using like Acura Interga seats which can be found a lot of places. The doorpanels will be black with flames sewn into then, the dash will be totally smoothed, and the seat recovered in yellow and black to match the body. The carpet will be black, duh, and the headliner will also be black with flames sewn into it. The stitching on the flames will be done in yellow to help accent them from the rest.... Wow, a lot of work and money? I can do the whole interior for less than 200 bucks AND have the know-how to do it also:D
  19. Hey garner, if you can have maybe Adam or Galen (carfreak85) make some compies of those, I'd be willing to trade a set of those for a copy of my airdam. Its a Kamei (sp?) spoiler and I had it sittin in front of my wagon to see how it looks. It would look great with those flares. I agree, we need to figure out something for sideskirts because the MiniBrat will definatly need some once its on the road again! As for filling the flares out, I don't think I'll have aproblem with fat rubbers underneath it:D
  20. hey Galen, I have an airdam for a gen 1. Also thanks to Mick on that one:D I think those look saweet, and would look even better with a copy of the airdam I have:D
  21. my sister's b/f went to paint "Brat Mobile" on either side of it but he spelled Bart on accident so he changed it to "Fart Mobile"......yes a very fun winter project:D
  22. Well for those of you who are thinkin my minitruck project with my Brat and a Nissan frame might be pretty cool, I just got some pics up a few minutes ago in my gallery of the past 3 days:D http://usmb.net/gallery/album283 Check it out! Its coming along pretty nicely:D
  23. or you could put a cat under your hood....another preventative way to keep mice out of the heater!
  24. yeah I found that one out the hard way....brand new tires + rear wheel drive = no tires left:brow:
  25. I'm planning on building a Brat minitruck on a Nissan truck frame. I'll be using the frame from a standard cab, the solid rearend and the front suspension. I also plan on 4 linkin the rearend and baggin it but thats after I get the GM 2.8 v6 and a 5-speed in there:D
