I had to heli coil my sparkplug hole before. It wasn't that bad. I went to Car Quest and got the right kit for it and in like 30 minutes if that, it was done. Just make sure not to get any metal shavings down the hole or you might be sorry:banghead:

you can get a stock LSD for the rear from an RX but you'll have to change out the front diff as well. Unfortunatly, there is no LSD for the front and so it'll always be an open diff. But good luck in finding a rear LSD because a lot of the people on the board go and grab these as soon as they hit the yard

I wanna do this too and so I was just waitin for someone to start a thread so I could get some info on this as well. Everyone decieds to lift their soobs but me, I've decided to take it to the ground but I need a nice set of rims to go with it. But like we've noticed, there's a lot more options of rims for a different lug pattern than for our own (go figure) unless you can pull the money out of your *bleep* for them.

Hondasucks converted his automatic 2wd 82 sedan to a 4wd 4-speed d/r. I think all he did was drop his drive train from his 84 4wd wagon into it and a bit of fabbing later, it was 4wd:brow:

the hoses running into the firewall go to your heater core. If you diconnect those, well it'll get a little chilly in the winter time. Yes do replace your t-stat. It will help with coolant flow which will keep your engine temp down. Like LostWater said, he replaces his once a year which I would also recommend.

replace your t-stat. If it sat without water on it, it dried up and they will fail when they dry up

I know that they're off of an EA71 equiped car from Japan. I was told that they came on a JDM front cut from a Subaru. Thats basically all I know cause Hondasucks bought them from a guy on the old board who he hasn't heard from for awhile now.

about four cans of foaming engine degreaser, and pressure washing it four times as well. (foam, wash, let dry... repeat)

I found that if I glass bead the surface of an object,it seems to hold the paint better. I did that to my heads of my EA71. My block, I just used a few cans of engine dereaser and a wire brush followed by the pressure washer. It took me a couple of hours but the paint is sticking really nicely.

that manifold is for an EA71. I'v test fitted it by setting it on the top of my motor. Now all I have to do is give Andrew some money for it and then rebuild the carbs and a little paint and *POOF* dual carbs!!

don't worry, its gonna get cleaned out before I put my intake on. No my valves aren't blue but if ya look close enough, you'll see the overspray on the valve springs. Now I can tell all the little ricers that "I have hi performace blue racing valve springs":D

I was planning on also puttin a d/r 5-speed from an EA82 in there with some minor mods. So it will bolt onto the EA81? Oh and I hope to be pushin a little more than 150hp.....
