Bumpin this up. Gonna be at Tahuya this friday-sunday. Anyone want to do some wheelin? It's gonna be a fun weekend. Jesse

Going camping at Tahuya 4/15-17 with family and friends. Gonna have the subie, dirtbike and quad. If anyone's interested in hooking up for some wheelin or riding let me know. I might have some extra space to camp also if interested. It should be very wet out there! Jesse

Looks like a great day of wheelin guys:headbang: That control arm is crazy. I wish I wasn't so far away so I could wheel with you guys more often:banghead: Jeff those tires/wheels look awesome! When did you get those and what size are they? Jesse

I'm not sure, but I think the Nissan 240 rear diff might work. Don't know what gears they have though. Jesse -
Waterwagon 3 Build-up, and the SJR+EJ Lift Thread!

That should be a nice improvement. It's kinda funny, when you were playing in the snow I was thinking that car is just way to quiet. Jesse -

Yeah, what you can't see in the pic is my tires spinning backwards. Here's some of my pics. Here's Eric (right before he "pulled" me up the hill) Found a great veiw where we went sleding up FR7010. Hey Ken did you of anyone else happen to find a boot at the gravel pit before you left? My brother Josh thinks it might have fell out of his truck while he was there. -

Went up FR70 with my brother today to play in the snow. I was gonna take him up FR7220 where we go for the tree run, but a forest ranger stopped us at FR7010 and said FR70 is closed before FR7220. They were sending everyone up 7010 for trees and sleding. Even had a plow running it. Don't know if they'll have 70 open by next weekend. If not there were a few places along 7010 where we could set up, but there won't be nearly as much space for everyone. Just wanted to give a heads up on that. Hopefully they'll get 70 plowed and open for us. Jesse -

I'm definitly making plans for this. I had a great time last year. Hey Zap, I might be able to keep up with you a little better this time with my built EA81 engine I put in my wagen. Andy, I'm sure your brat will go farther than your Impreza did last year, It'll be cool to see you up there. Jesse -
That's okay Brian, we hate you too:grin: When are you gonna come over here again? You need to wheel with us when it's wet. It's way more fun.

Had a blast! Glad I could make it. Sorry for the guys that broke early on.

I'm getting ready to go now. I'll see you guys at Joes. Jesse

I'm workin on gettin mine ready now. Gonna go pick up some new rear shocks and I'm hoping to find some ea82 front axles at PAP for spares. I might change my radiator to, it's had a tiny crack in it for quite some time. I'll be at GIJoes in the morning.

A little project I like to call Gloria (GL+RE+EA)

That looks freakin awesome!! I wish I could be that ambitious. I have ideas and skills to do crazy things like this, but I never actually do them. Way to go man! -
It's a dual range 5 speed.

Looks awesome guys! I'm really hoping to make the oct run.

Yeah, I scraped most of the mud out of my wheels before I left while it was still soft. I stopped in North Bend and chipped some more out of the inside of my rear wheels though. It got a little scary coming down the pass at 70mph with bad rear shocks. the rearend would start shaking like crazy and swaying side to side! I had a great time at the show. Thanks to everyone involved.

I like it! Some tires will really make it look good. I spy a Type 3 VW. Is that yours?

I should be ready to leave (512 & Canyon Rd) around 6pm friday. I'm thinking of taking HWY167/18/90/970/97, quickest route from here. So maybe meet somewhere on 167 or 18 if that works for anyone. Jesse -
Any luck with this yet? I'm kind of anxious to see if this works. I've been thinking about it alot lately, just havn't had time or parts to play with it. Jesse

That thing's freakin huge man!!! Looks like you need some bigger tires now. Good work, looks awesome!:slobber: Jesse

Have you done a side x side comparison of the EA81/EA82 trailing arms? I was also looking at doing this after I did my front control arm/axle swap. When I compared the two, there seemed to be very little if any difference in length/width, it's the trailing arm mounts on the body that are farther apart from what I saw. Just something to think about before you get to excited like I did. But if you know something I didn't notice, please tell. Jesse
