  6. Ok so I have been wading through all of the various speaker/stereo install threads and I have yet to find one that gives a definitve answer on how big of a speaker you can put in the front and still roll down the window. And no im not talking about bolting up the speaker to the door panel because then its not as secure as it would be bolted to the door plus it sticks out into the area where people put their feet so it is just askin to get kicked. Any suggestions/tricks for mounting bigger speakers are welcome.
  7. yea i have that same feeling when i pull up to a stoplight after just getting off of the freeway. The blank stare from the car next to you as they try and figure out why your not freaking out about all the smoke coming out from under your hood and car. O_o thats the look i usually get from them, maybe someday soon ill get around to resealing mine....
  8. oh yea i forgot all about headin up there. what do you got going on this weekend i may have some time to head up and check out the fleet and see about the cargo cover if u still have any? pm me about it

  10. well its lookin like i may have caught the subaru bug and maybe gettin another subaru. its a 86 wagon d/r 5spd ea82 but it has a blown head gasket with 260,000 on the clock. everything else seems to be in mint shape so what do u guys think its worth
  11. I was talkin with a member back and forth about gettin some wheel caps for the stock white spoke rims but I deleted the message on accident and now I cant remember who it was so if your readin this send me the message again.
  12. I was at a part store earlier today gettin some odds n ends for the wagon and next door was a gas station and I needed gas so I headed over there after I was done gettin the parts I needed. When I pulled up I noticed something different about the pumps, they didn't have the usual E10 Ethanol stickers plastered everywhere. I asked the attendant inside and sure enough they are actually selling real gas:banana:. So anyone that is looking to run regular gas in their car and are in the area they should stop by there. I'm pretty sure it was called Liberty Gas. 11802 Meridian E, Puyallup, WA 98373
  13. i would check the hole on the passenger side again cus i was able to fit my cb antenna wire and and some other wires through there no problem so i dont see why you wouldnt be able to
  14. well if you are really serious about gettin rid of it and not stickin to it let me know if your willin to part with some parts from it but i would stick with it if you can finacially i know it sucks right now cus im in the same boat. my toyota mr2 has been sittin for a year cus of various problems but i work on it when i can and i think i may have finally fixed the things that are wrong with it so theres always some hope and theres plenty of ppl on here that have the knowledge to help u with what you need
  15. wouldnt you want to do the block heater after u did the engine swap:confused:
  16. i dont think thats the case because it almost looks like you can make out a hook that is holding whatever it is in place at the top im still sayin fiber optic cable
  17. ugh kinda sounds like what i was experiencing when my hg went out a couple yrs ago. i took it to my local shucks and they did a coolent check for free and told me it was toast so i went and got the parts and did it myself. i think in total it cost me like a hundred something out the door.
  18. i had the same problem on an old acura integra of mine. i ended up having to replace the heater core for another reason and ever since i did that it always had hotter air coming out so i figured my heating issue had something to do with the heater core.
