I have a 2000 outback limited that is having some minor a/t shifting problems. This usually happens after the car has down-shifted say to 3rd or 2nd in slow traffic and i need to accelerate back up to 4th. There is a hesitation between 2nd and 3rd and possibly 3rd to 4th. This is not a fuel problem!

Can an OBD scan pick this up?

Any comments on what this could possibly be caused by?
