Do these MLS gaskets have a part number?
-
I have a set of genuine (Atsugi) offset EA82T pistons, came out of a rebuilt engine I purchased once, I wish I could find the part number for them, I've even had dealers look and come back with nothing... Jono, looks like those pistons you've got have the long skirt as well as the strong sides that the offset pistons have, perhaps the best of both worlds, care for some more pics?

Gloyale, there's no chance you still have the old ea trans? I'm in need of some parts...

It appears that that shaft IS attached to the sandwich plate part, can that be seperated? (photo not of my transmission) - havent ventured into it yet... According to this thread : http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/82088-legacy-4eat-into-ea82-turbo/ an EJ trans can be mated to an EA Diff housing so it appears the 'stator shaft', if that is the correct name for it, will be a compatible length and size...

I have just just acquired a spare EA82 4EAT (AWD) to check-over and keep as a spare for my car, I noticed the torque convertor protruding out of the TC housing case a little too much so I removed it to check it out and found this: Am I correct in saying this is the 'Stator Shaft'? I have no idea how it got broken but Im glad I found this while sitting on the garage floor, not while trying to mount it on an engine:) The input shaft came out no problem and it seems fine, I havent been able to get the oil pump shaft out yet as the broken shaft (stator?) is swollen on the end but I suspect I am going to score the inside of it while removing it and possibly is already scored if this fracture was present while the tranny was in use.... Any chance anyone has this part and an oil pump input shaft (attaches to rear of torque convertor) from a EA82 4EAT (AWD) available?? By the Parts catalog, it appears this 'Stator Shaft' is secured into the TC housing case with bolts from the inside so it should be a reletively simple fix providing I can get the parts, fingers crossed! thanks.

how did it catch fire? will you be parting it out? If so, I would be interested in the Megasquirt ECU... -
Lets not turn this into a preferred brand thread. And actually some EJ20s are specified to run on champions and for some reason do not like NGK's. I know this from personal experience of a dealer fitting NGK's by default instead of checking the manual.

Skunk2 Adjustable Coilovers on an XT

Oh, you drilled the wheels? Do you have a photo of that? Id be interested in how much meat is left in the wheel and what size the center bore is. -
There could of course be a difference in alloy compostion...

I like switching to the 5/8" nut size versions of plugs, makes them easier to get in & out, like BCPR6ES or BKR6ES in NGK or RN9YC in Champion

what stud pattern are the rims, 6x140? -
Looking to change the pads on my XT, I know there aren't many options available for the L/XT series, but has anyone got advice on whats a nice, sticky pad? Im not vain, I'll take stopping over clean wheels... I dont know much about pads and have always used whatever I had lying around in spare calipers, so this time I may treat my right foot to something good. Thanks!

any chance of a interior shot from the back seat, facing forwards, so we can see the center console and everything? Is that a trip computer?
