You can vote once per day per IP address. If you have a way to change your IP then you can vote multiple times per day. I'd be voting non-stop but I fear the people running the contest will be watching out for patterns like that. Also, I've seen instances where the page fails to load in IE. Loads fine in Firefox.

With winner is the one with the highest (#votes * vote_average) Really it works out to: if you vote a 1 I get a point, if you vote a 5 I get 5 points.

You would think so but even voting a "1" will help them. Think of it as adding 1 to his total. Not voting for him is like giving him a "0"

Apparently they called my car a rust bucket! Sure there's a bit of rust but, all things considered (mileage, yearly driver), it's better than most cars of that vintage. I think I will need a lot more votes coming in daily to win this thing now.

You may want to look up the term "Heat Soak". Using a voltmeter to check your ignition circuit will help you "probe" the issue. In the case of the SVX the ignition switch itself wears out and you can lose a lot of voltage there. Sometimes the neutral safety switch as well (in the case of autos)
