  1. Any ideas to protect paint once the clear coat is gone. Obviously it needs a re-spray, I'm looking for ideas to protect it until it can be re-sprayed in the future. I basically don't want it to deteriorate further and start to get down to primer. Any ideas/products people recommend
  2. EA82 still has all the original factory hose connectors. Runs good. Well I am not sure what will end up with this sedan either good parts or put it back on the road. Keep searching the old, one owner subies are still out there. Get them before they are crushed.
  3. 3speed auto is a little sluggish but working. origal radio still there.
  4. Wasn't really looking but it was too cheap and close by to allow it to be crushed.
  5. Still need to run some wires for the trailer, but it's running like a champ.
  6. That brat is super clean for a new england subaru, good to see it getting a new life. Here is an update on the 1988 wagon rescued from the Maine woods at the beginning of this thread. Had a lot of problems with DMV but it finally now has a title and is registered. Still needs a new clutch but I think I can get one more winter season out of the one in the car now.

  9. Here is my 1986 gl with the original motor and 3spd auto tranny
  10. And here is my VW camper. It really needs an engine upgrade, top speed is 60mph on downgrades. Go to thesamba.com there is a lot of info on doing the subaru engine swap. Good luck with your project.
  11. Here is my 73 Bug, still chugging along with the air cooled vw motor.
  12. I painted my stock rims silver and added chrome trim rings. I have a set of rally wheels but I like the stock look for my sedan.
  13. Well It is now safely off of the city streets, It has had many owners and luckily it is all in one piece. Hopefuly it will be back on the road soon. Does anyone know anything else about this EA82 model, like what years it was produced.
  14. I was suprised the back seat tops were not cracked from all the heat generated under that back glass
