    The best thread I know of for the 2", is now in the offroad mods section of the USRM. It is cheap and easy, but be prepared for the cost of new axles too, if they are old/original. Mine were with the SJR 4/3" lift, and even 1" over stock caused them to wear out pretty quick. Forget it if this is EA81.

    I brought it up as much as he did, by submitting it to the off road USRM. Maybe a mod can close 'er up for good?

    Addicting, isn't it!?! That rear tire is pretty stuffed, but prob bottomed out anyway. Does your's have rear strut adjustment...I've only seen it on my '86.

    Right on, Bill..."The Beast" can't be true to it's name with stock drivetrain!!! I'm also interested in this mod, if you feel like going into detail. I'd like my axles to rub, if they could.

    '86 GL wagon/ EJ22: I loosened up the throttle cable quite a bit and grounded the MT/AT wire at the same time. Don't know if it was one or both, but it now purrs at 7-800 rpm.

    Reliable, eh!?! I just made a 600 miler in mine trouble free. What did you end up with for exhaust?

    Bump Come on, guys...Scott's been itching to go out again, after half or more of NWOG decided to rebuild their rigs at the same time!!! I only need exhaust work, rear axles, and ECU containment to wheel again.

    I wouldn't even bother with 5-lug wheels. With the 6 lug, two opposing studs will bolt up to give you center.
