This is true.
Small house, small heating bills
And yeah, I'm really lucky when I was trying to charge that battery.
It was about 10* outside when I was trying to jump it, and it was about 11pm.
Not a good combo.
Poor tow truck driver...
That must've sucked hardcore.

Yeah, I saw that on the WCSS posts. Lol.
It's kinda funny, but I'm still amazed no seals have gone on that engine.
It sat for at least 3 years before I got my hands on it, and another year
before I even started tinkering with it, and it STILL hasn't leaked.
The incredibly simple superior subaru engineering, at its best.
And I'm glad you like him, even with his "rust" :-p

Hey Bill, how did rusty do at the show?
Did he make the trip ok?
Hope to see you next year!

Nice. and that's a tiny house too!
A bit cozy in there, huh?
My current residence with my P.U.'s (Parental Units) is about 1300 sq ft.
I'm probably gonna be moving into a house that's only 600 or so sq ft with
two of my best friends fairly soon though.
I don't have a welder, nor does my dad.
The closest thing to a welder is my soldering iron.
Or a pair of jumper cables on a battery! O_O
Yeah.
I've almost welded my battery to my hood and a few to many occasions.
Hooked up the charger wrong, hit an accidental jump with no battery
strap downs, a few REALLY big potholes and some nice ruts, are to blame
for the burn marks and rust spots on the bottom of my hood.

So its just an arc welder for now?
And you're lucky to have a propane heater.
I have a cat and a reeeeeally thick coat.
and gloves.
and 3 hats.
and 2 pairs of snowpants.
and 3 pairs of wool socks.

Yup. Esp. when I have a purple/mauve body, red front fenders, and a silver
bumper. :-p
I'll have to get a pic up soon.
Before winter hits and you can't see the car, lol.
Did you get a little hungry after whiffing that stuff? Hmmmmmm??? lol
Yeah, that's cool that your dad has the tools and the skills to do that.
Hopefully it stays solid!
I know how you feel about getting stuff done in fair weather.
My lego was prime example of "I gotta get this done NOW"
And thankfully the weather cooperated, not raining until the day after I
was done
I can handle the cold weather fixing stuff as long as its above 20* but it's
still miserable.
Actually though, I'd rather work on a car in 10* weather, than 100*
Call me crazy, but you can only get so naked.
And then you can't work on a car in a pool. :-p
But you can always add layers. and more layers, and more until you're an
eskimo with a dog stuffed in his coat.
