  1. Nice job and glad to see that your getting it done!! Pics of the car when you get 'er lifted!!
  2. search. There is a lot of info on here about doing things for this. You can weld the rear diff or swap in an LSD. The front is more complicated, but I believe it can be done. Do a search for LSD
  3. So the EA81 springs actually lifted the outback?
  4. Does that wagon have automatic seat belts or regular? If it has regular could you part with them? I would need the whole shoulder belt assembly, from the roll on the bottom to the top where it bolts up. Let me know. Thanks!!
  5. Sweet dude!! I know you'll love that d/r in your car!! So if you don't mind, how much did you get it for? Lots of good parts!! Now the work begins! Swapping all the goodies into your car!
  6. That's awesome!! I'd be interested in what they used for the setup! Looks mean!
  7. I would take each fusible link out and check them. Sometimes they can look fine but they aren't
  8. I've had a wanted ad posted for one of those!!! I'll take it if you can get it off!! Let me know. pm sent!
  9. So this makes me wonder if newer style springs will fit in old style struts, for instance, I have a set of WRX springs, would they fit into a set of EA82 struts? And would they be too stiff?
  10. yup! Like I said. I think the heads changed in 98, but other than that, everything else mechanically is the same
  11. It changed a little but not much, The dash had a new cubby on top in the 98 and the radio changed a little, and there was a digital odometer in the 98, but it was a lot alike. The seats still had the weird '70's/safari look to them
  12. the engine went to interference in 97, and I believe they changed the design of the heads in 98. But the rest is pretty much the same
  13. Maybe the dust shield is rubbing on the inside of the rotor a little?
  14. I asked around and I guess that all the WRX's came with a temp gauge but the regular Impreza's did not. It's a shame!
  15. It's not my car, you can reply to the ad if you'd like to help this lady. I just thought someone would like to help her out.
  16. I say fix the boot. If it's not causing any vibration or noise, it's probably just fine. But 300 for a new axle!! That's insane!!
  17. Wow, yeah you really need to go get an aftermarket temp gauge installed! It is more than necessary, on any car!
