  1. Are the tranny mounts tight? I had a lose mount and it did that. Or maybe rear diff bushing
  2. Exactly what I was thinking! It really wouldn't be all that hard. with the right tools and some fab work
  3. Sounds good to me. I had a friend that had a UTEC management system and had an aftermarket up pipe and he was pushing 300 AWHP, so I would say that's decent for what you have on it.
  4. I used to run my AGX's on the middle setting, and no I did not notice much of a difference when I went to the GR2's.
  5. There should really be a flex joint behind the tranny. That is what comes factory and I've found it's necessary so that it doesn't break the exhaust or put tension on the head bolts.
  6. Welcome! You'll love it here! There are quite a few Brats so keeps searching! A lot of the good ones are getting quite pricey but keep looking on ebay and craigslist!
  7. A 92 should work fine but you may have to set them side by side and ghange out a few plugs etc. As long as it's out of an EJ car and it is a 4 spd auto 4EAT it should work fine. But also make sure it comes out of a car with the same gear ratio as yours if not you may need to change your rear diff as well.
  8. ebay sells a lot of kyb's and for a decent price too. I have ordered a set from ebay before with luck. You'll probably get them fairly quickly. Just a thought
  9. I'm not sure about your eaxact problem but I will say that I used KYB AGX's on my old 97 Impreza and they were blown in 6 months! I will never use them again! I wasn't jumping my car. I went KYB GR2's and they lasted a lot longer!
  10. No he only has 13" wheels on that! It just sits so nice and tall and wide because of the full Loyale suspension and drive train. That Brat literally went everywhere!
  11. Only on EA81 and EA82. The older ones were located in the top center.
  12. The guy that actually posted that was the fourth owner. The kid who had it when it died...Goldieoldie...was the 3rd and 5th owner. Yeah I told you that I saw it a couple weeks ago in Portland! Yeah I guess that kid must have been very young or not have a clue about subarus at all and just likes his fast car:-\
  13. Sweet 14" wheels! Are they Subaru? That's a good find and yes it does look to sit nice and looks like it has air suspension! But if it has been changed out it's a headache you won't have to deal with later!
  14. Yeah I think I'm good, I mean it would be cool to have just for the rarity factor but I really like the setup I have!
  15. I'm pretty sure that he is referring to the radius rods which yes you can just grab a good one from another car that is the same body style as yours and bolt it on. I don't know if they come in different diameters. And yes the arm bone(radius rod) is connected to the leg bone(control arm). So I'm pretty sure that's what needs replacing...they bend fairly easy when sliding into curbs.
  16. These are pictures of my Brat that I found and scanned into my computer. The first one is when it was completely stock before I owned it....probably around '97 or'98, the one on the left is mine and the one on the right is my friends Brat that he put full Loyale suspension and running gear into.. And the other ones are from a few years ago after it spent the winter in the shop getting fixed and modified! And the bottom pic is of my first Impreza.....I know wrong forum but I didn't feel like starting two threads:grin:
  17. I really like the rack!! That would look good cut down and mounted on my Brat!
  18. ok thank you...I'll see what I can find out. It's below 0 outside right now so I'm gonna hold off but thank you for the info! I appreciate it!
  19. Wow that's crazy that car did come from Maine! I just saw that in early December when my wife and I went to Portland. We passed it on the highway! That's awesome! It really is a small world! So what kind of shape is it in? I see it has some rust but how bad is the underside?
