Try living in Maine there are tons of subarus but no older ones!! And if there are any they are rusted right to the door handles!!

My 97 had single exhaust ports so You will probably need to change the y-pipe. But other than that yeah it should work!! -

Give them a really large dimension so that you can still cut them to your specs!

okay! thanks i was just hoping to gain a little more clearance but it won't make that much difference. so if i bolt on a metal plate and rebolt the diff lower it should fix it!? but what about the center bearing mount do i need to do anything to that?

So I was thinking......maybe if I just spaced the diff down on the oxbow more. I just dropped it an inch or so so would dropping it more make the angle on the u joint better?? Someone please let me know! Thanks

ok another question! My brat has a 5spd d/r tranny. When I lifted it I didn't space the center bearing down. Do I need to? It seems like there is a little binding or something but I wasn't sure. So let me know what you think or have done! thanks!

I completely agree I pulled my motor in my brat in 1 to 1.5 hours by myself and it makes it so much easier to work on the motor!

Great along the same lines just a little different and newer! But the driveline is relatively bulletproof and the rest is pretty straight forward like the loyales! But they don't have the same clearance and they are much heavier. Thats my opinion!

1988 GL wagon rust issues

Any idea how much a rust free carcass would cost to ship??? I would love to get a rust free brat or hatch but I live in Maine so it would be a long trip to get it! -
I was recently putting new gaskets and o-rings on my oil pump and didn't find the little spring when I took the oil pump off. Should I be concerned?! And will it work without it?
