  1. I drove it everyday on the road. I actually used adjustable ones, and cranked them up a little too. It didn't bother tire wear too bad, it was lifted a little over an inch I'd say at that time. I don't think the struts themselves will add much lift. I used the EA82 strut assembly with spring and all. No, I didn't add any reinforcement washers actually. I used flat washers with lock washers and cranked them down tight. Never had an issue, and it got tested too.
  2. Yes. I installed a set in the front of my brat a while back. I even drilled holes and used the ea82 strut tops.
  3. If its truly in good shape with no rust, it's a real shame to cut it up and make it a buggy.
  4. You may be able to find them some places, but they are still a very small tire.
  5. And good look finding anything bigger than a 185 70 13, the 185 80 13 is really hard to find.
  6. Those aren't 13's. They're 14's or 15's. And those are probably around a 27"tire. That brat looks to be from Australia, where there were a few other 4 lug option wheels.
  7. Nicole has quite the built up Leone, and has been looking for some pristine bumpers for a while, hence the offer.
  8. You're not going to find new pug wheels in the right lug pattern. Used ones can be found, there's a source in New Hampshire actually, and he'll ship them too. That's where I got my steel wheels. Had them sandblasted for cheap and painted. Drilling the hubs doesn't weaken them to a point that you'll ever notice.
  9. The front 02 is hooked up. And it was taken out of a running car, so it was good.
  10. Yes I got it, sorry I haven't been in touch. Worked a week of storm work after a snow storm put out power to over 80,000 people. And I've had my kids every weekend. So time has been stretched. As soon as I get a chance, I'll be getting it installed and trying it! I'm praying it fixes it.
  11. Take the nut off, and get a good angle with a big hammer, and give the control arm a good whack downwards.
  12. That's the tie rod end. Thread the nut on upside down so you don't hurt the threads, and give it a couple whacks.
  13. They'll bolt right in. 02-07 impreza, 98-08 forester, and 95-99 legacy all share the exact same bolt spacing for the top hats, front and rear.
  14. That wasn't a good year for Legacy GT's. They had issues with turbo and motor failures. And 10k sounds a bit high to me for one of those.
  15. On the newer subarus, when the check engine light comes on, the cruise light flashes. Have the diagnostics read, and get the codes, and then fix whatever needs to be fixed to turn the light off.
  16. 98-08 foresters all have the same top hat spacing, and those are the ones that'll fit, but as said in this thread, you'll either have to drill a hole in the impreza body, or change the rear top hats to the impreza ones. You don't need the actual trailing arms, just the bracket they mount to. And they will not be the same on any 2000 or newer. It has to come from a 96-99 outback.
  17. Again, 98-08 forester struts will work, but the 98-02 have a lower rear spring perch so you can't fit as big of a tire. 03-08 have a higher rear spring perch that allows a bigger tire, or 96-99 Outback would work as well.
  18. Nice build. Are the front lift blocks built to account for camber? They look like just a straight drop from the pics, that may be why you had axle issues.
  19. No subarus had locking hubs, and the push button is vacuum controlled, not electronic. But the dual range is definitely a better setup! Gloyale also makes and sells adapter plates for the ej swap, as well as the re drilled flywheel. And he's very helpful, and good to deal with.
