  1. If you want the subaru rumble, you need a UEL header and then a more free flowing muffler.
  2. Outback and forester are very similar. Legacy is a couple inches shorter, which is what you already have. Check out, and contact primitive racing. They can set you up with outback struts and springs.
  3. ^Those too. But it'd be a good idea to install new struts at the same time if you go that route. I love my King springs as well.
  4. He's saying he has daily driven cars with 2" lifts running 27" tires. ShawnW is his name on here. You can look him up in the members list. He also has a for sale thread in the for sale section that is at the very top of that section. Last time I checked, he didn't have the axles anymore and said to contact the place that had them directly. I can't remember the name of the place though.
  5. Gloyale suggested those because they are already made. You don't have to do anything except get them from an outback and Install them in your car.
  6. You'll only need a longer steering coupler if you drop the front crossmember as well. Usually with a 2" lift you only drop the struts down. But if you do drop the front crossmember, then you'll need the steering coupler lengthened the same amount as that is dropped.
  7. Yeah it does seem to knock a bit when it starts bogging out. But no knock sensor code. And It's a new knock sensor. The exhaust is an inferno fab single exhaust port UEL header, then it has a 2.5" flex pipe welded to that, and then it just has a muffler clamped on that. It doesn't even have a full exhaust on it yet because we couldn't drive it to the exhaust shop.
  8. The hub is the splined piece that the rotor bolts to. It spins with the rotor. It's attached to the rotor using 4 14mm head bolts. That is what the cone washer sits into when you put the axle but on. The splines can wear out, causing sounds, and also allowing the axle to slip inside on the hub.
  9. What about the hub itself? If the rotor was a bit loose, it's bolted to the hub, so maybe that has play in it?
  10. Nice. What is that off of? Or made for?
  11. Grrr. Should be all set now. Here it is again, and me feathering the throttle after i try to rev it, is just to smooth it out so that it'll idle again.
  12. Got a video of what it does. Ej swap issue:
  13. It should be entirely complete. I actually bought the car for it's very clean interior, to swap the carpet and seats into my Loyale, just need to get the EJ swap running to get it home. But the Dash, and everything is all complete.
  14. Mine is out of an 88 GL-10, so it should be green.
  15. I received mine as well. But also haven't installed them yet. Gotta get the car running first.
  16. What do you need exactly? I have a turbo wagon with digital dash. It's a parts car so if there's something you need, let me know.
  17. You'll need an install kit. There's a piece that covers the hole in the dash, and then the new head unit goes into that. Along with the proper wiring harness adapter. You should be able to find one online somewhere.
  18. Lol. You're something else. You don't know me so don't assume things. Evidently you're the one who didn't read. My post count doesn't mean a damn thing. I've been on this forum longer than you so of course I have more. I didn't speak badly about anyone. I have dealt with primitive and they are awesome and knowledgeable. And good to know that GD was going to screw me by charging me 2k more for that car. And if you read, I didn't and don't have any bushing problems lol. If you lift a car with the newer rear suspension, much over 2inches, the bushings are not happy. Plain and simple. I've seen and worked on them. But keep assuming, and posting like you know all because you work for the almighty GD. Oh and one specific car is a 2013 outback with 3" of lift. The bushings are so tweaked it's not funny. And the camber is terrible. Obviously the bushings aren't old in that car
  19. Where they are the same model and everything they should be able to be swapped. The older Subarus were very easy. Most of them would swap between eachother with very little issues.
  20. Dude, entirely different rear suspension design. If you're going to offer advice, make sure it's correct. The rear suspension is completely different on the 2000+ legacy and Outback than it is on the 98-08 forester. That's why I said the newer suspension design. I have owned several lifted cars including a forester just like yours that I had lifted 2 inches. It's different. You work in a subaru shop, you should know this.
