  1. Looks great, and it appears that it goes pretty good too!
  2. Let me know, I may want some parts! I'm assuming it's rusty?
  3. When I put 04 WRX seats into my 04 Forester XT, I had the same issue. Just had to swap the buckles between the 2. should actually add that the other guy put my Forester seats into his WRX, his buckles worked just fine! But mine would not clip in, so we swapped them out and we were both good to go.
  4. I think it may have to do with where it sits once you try to bolt it up to the car, but I'm not positive.
  5. I was in fact referring to a merge. I'd have the harness from the 90 Loyale and the harness from the 96 Legacy, and I'd want them merged. This won't be immediate though.
  6. Nice, I look forward to seeing progress
  7. Would this mirror work for you? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=133338
  8. Well it'd be OBD2 from a 96 Legacy, into a 90 Loyale.
  9. Who is merging harnesses these days? And what's the cost?
  10. Hey Scott, just curious, when will your website be back online?
  11. There are always exceptions. I just wouldn't do it as a first attempt.
  12. I usually never hit the actual rim when doing this. I give it a good whack on the side wall. It's plenty to break it loose, and you don't hurt anything in the process.
  13. All that excess moisture in the air could have also helped the plug wires show their age. It may be a good idea to just replace them, and the plugs as neither are very expensive.
  14. Yeah it made no sense to me either, but he is a long time Subaru guy and has done just about every mod to a Subaru that can be done. He tried loosening up the column to gain some room and it just wouldn't fit. He swapped the entire column from the Outback into the Legacy and everything went right together.
  15. If it clicked, but did nothing, it sounds like it didn't have quite good enough of a connection to me. I would still try putting a good battery and making sure the terminals have a good connection.
  16. It's quite custom. Extended struts and blocks etc. He may not being used to it's full potential in this video, or in general, but that doesn't take away from the build quality.
  17. The Forester actually does really well off road. Mine is far from as modded as this one, and very capable. And the owner of this Forester, built it all himself, in his shop. So that says something too.
  18. I have had mine since 2003 or 2004 and it's been in 5 different Subarus, and still starts strong even in the cold. I have a feeling you'll like it!
  19. Why does he need to re-think his priorities?
  20. The steering column is different length too, so the u joint may not swap in from the Outback. When a friend of mine lifted his 99 Legacy wagon, he put the OB lift blocks in, and tried using the u joint as well, he had to use the entire Outback column and u joint for it to fit.
  21. You'll need to extend your steering u joint as well if you use the OB body lift.
