  1. More shiny parts! So do you have any idea when things will start going together?
  2. Stopped by tonight to drop off my nice clean air filter to put on before it goes back together. It's all painted! I didn't get a great look at it because he had just got done, but I did get to see the bumper cover. He sprayed that separate because of the flex additive needed. That looked great, and looking in through the window, the rest of the car did too! I'm thinking Monday it will be all done. He was going to wet sand a few spots tonight and tomorrow and then finish up. I can't wait!
  3. No, it was in a minor accident long before I got it, and the way things lined up have been bugging me forever, so it's finally getting taken care of!
  4. Went and visited the car after work today. I knew it was a little tweaked in the front drivers side, but didn't know how bad it was. The drivers side strut tower was pushed back into the firewall, and that whole side was bent up quite a bit. When it was fixed(before the previous owner bought it)they did not do a good job at all. It's obvious they were just trying to get it out of the shop quick. But now, everything is lined up and put back into place! It will be painted within the next couple days, and I should have it back by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Here are a couple pics.

  6. I actually tried 89 EA82 GL seats in my BRAT and they didn't work for me at all. My head hit the roof. But if you're shorter, they may be fine.
  7. Put XT6 seats in. I'm 6' 4" and 260 and I fit in my BRAT just fine with XT6 seats, but not with stock seats.
  8. It needs to have the lines on the side for the auto tranny lines to go into the tranny cooler.
  9. Yep, front cv axle went boom. I have had them break before and not even look like it too. All the broken parts stayed inside the boot.
  10. Not with the turbos like his motor is. They don't have the hg issues that the N/A's do.

  13. Nice! Just out of curiosity, what did the King springs run? And they lift roughly 1.5" right?
  14. I know of a few places around here that would charge around $400 for a tranny swap. They are smaller garages but know their stuff! But yeah, for the money I'd do the job yourself. As long as you have a jack, it's not too bad. Just have to be patient. I have to say that is a crazy low mileage transmission!!
  15. Could be behind little panels in the back on the sides. There are little doors and one side should have the jack.
  16. Ahhh ok, so the drums on this are shot, so might as well around the same money on an upgrade instead of replacing with same old stuff. Gotcha! Yeah rear disc is nice, I loved them on my BRAT. But I definitely suggest them on your Loyale as well!
  17. Just out of curiosity, not criticizing at all, why not put the rear discs on your Loyale instead of this?
  18. Thanks. Honestly not sure what the clearance is, never checked, but it has a good 4-5" more clearance than stock.
  19. Looks great. I wouldn't mind having a set on mine. I think I will get JDM projector headlights first though. You should move this to the members rides section!!
  20. Great spot for those switches. This thing will be sweet when it's finished. You should ask to have this moved to the members rides section.
