Negative rear camber issue
bratman18 replied to 987687's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I think he means shim out the top of the strut mount, but that would do nothing, the bushing would just flex and not push the top of the tire out at all. Hmmm, what the hell could it be!?! -
Haha, thats awesome^^^ Who woulda thunk it's in the encyclopedia

Negative rear camber issue
bratman18 replied to 987687's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Hey I just thought of something. Make sure the rear lift bock has not moved or shifted at all on that side, if it has, it may cause it to sit different -
Yes there were USDM Legacys that had air suspension.

front axles
bratman18 replied to jp1gt's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
From my experience so far the NAPA Maxdrive will last a lot longer than 25k. I have not seen one fail yet. The only issue I have see with them is on a lifted EA82, but that is pretty normal for just a strut lift. -

I have had very good luck with NAPA Maxdrive axles. They are new and have lifetime warranty. -
Wow that thing is awesome!! Looks like you did some great work, and customization. More pics of the engine bay!!

I know the boots go bad more often because the cat is right there, so it gets hot. But it also makes a difference of what quality axles you are putting in there. Are they new or rebuilt? -

That's cool, this one is a member from a local forum in my area. Awesome car, seen it in person!! -
It may be an aftermarket cruise control set up, because that is definitely part of the system.

BRAT with a "Sport" package
bratman18 replied to Twitch de la Brat's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Actually not sure. Yes you were pulling on me, but you had a much better run and actually started in the right gear. I failed at climbing that hill:lol: Also, mine has bigger tires and wheels!! -

I used to have one. I miss that car, and should have never gotten rid of it, it was mint with no rust at all. Nice find! -
BRAT with a "Sport" package

I know that my Brat goes a lot better than most of the other old Subarus I've had. And it doesn't have an original BRAT motor in it. I have always thought it was because of the light weight, I mean, I can lift the rump roast end of my BRAT by myself, must be pretty light
