  1. It may a bit of a drive but drive to Auburn Maine and go to Evergreen Subaru. They are awesome!!!!!
  2. I think he means shim out the top of the strut mount, but that would do nothing, the bushing would just flex and not push the top of the tire out at all. Hmmm, what the hell could it be!?!
  3. Haha, thats awesome^^^ Who woulda thunk it's in the encyclopedia
  4. Hey I just thought of something. Make sure the rear lift bock has not moved or shifted at all on that side, if it has, it may cause it to sit different
  5. Yes there were USDM Legacys that had air suspension.
  6. From my experience so far the NAPA Maxdrive will last a lot longer than 25k. I have not seen one fail yet. The only issue I have see with them is on a lifted EA82, but that is pretty normal for just a strut lift.
  7. I have had very good luck with NAPA Maxdrive axles. They are new and have lifetime warranty.
  8. Wow that thing is awesome!! Looks like you did some great work, and customization. More pics of the engine bay!!
  9. I know the boots go bad more often because the cat is right there, so it gets hot. But it also makes a difference of what quality axles you are putting in there. Are they new or rebuilt?
  10. The guy who started this thread "Pooparu" makes them
  11. Awesome!! Hope it goes great. Looks like the inside of the motor in my Brat. Super clean!!
  12. That's cool, this one is a member from a local forum in my area. Awesome car, seen it in person!!

    Help...?

It may be an aftermarket cruise control set up, because that is definitely part of the system.

    Help...?

    Yes it's cruise control
  15. Been a while but I got a few more little things done, and some new pics!! These are from a recent group drive through the White Mountains area of New Hampshire......
  16. Thanks. Yeah I actually gotta get some new pictures loaded up.
  17. That thing looks great sitting up nice and high!!!
  18. I have had a lot of luck with Max drive axles from NAPA. They are about 100 bucks, and I have never seen one fail. I have seen a couple issues on lifted older rigs, but never a stock car
  19. Most likely means you need to change your valve cover gaskets and the grommets that go around the plugs as well.
  20. That sucks!! Luckily they are easy to change!!!! Make sure it's not the intake gaskets!!
  21. Actually not sure. Yes you were pulling on me, but you had a much better run and actually started in the right gear. I failed at climbing that hill:lol: Also, mine has bigger tires and wheels!!
  22. I used to have one. I miss that car, and should have never gotten rid of it, it was mint with no rust at all. Nice find!
  23. I know that my Brat goes a lot better than most of the other old Subarus I've had. And it doesn't have an original BRAT motor in it. I have always thought it was because of the light weight, I mean, I can lift the rump roast end of my BRAT by myself, must be pretty light
