  1. Well obviously I wasn't there but it looks like you had a great time!!! Rob, it was an awesome privilege to meet you and hope to see you again!! Definitely let me know if you are heading out this way again. And hopefully I can come visit you in the future!! Thanks for meeting up and the great conversation!! -Jason
  2. They do make the same type you have pictured but in a good brand. I'm not sure who makes them but I know there are some good quality aftermarket lights made
  3. Yup they will fit, the only cosmetic difference between your car and the WRX is the hood scoop
  4. no there are no pics in the post. I will take a lookie. Looks nice!! Is that one that was for sale on here?
  5. Rob is on his way!! I just talked to him and he is nearing Newport from Presque Isle. He has lots of driving ahead of him yet. I will be meeting up with him in a couple hours or so.
  6. So how bout some more pics and maybe some of the build?
  7. Cool car, and it actually has the power to turn them big tires!!
  8. Yeah, toe them babies out a touch and it should help a lot. When you simply drop the strut, the natural suspension droop causes the tires to point in a little, so toe them back out a little and it should help
  9. I would definitely advise getting yourself a dual range tranny before getting tires that big and aggressive. Big tires like that will cook your tranny and you won't be able to turn them anyway, believe me I know!!
  10. Thanks everyone, sounds like I will hold off. If I had more room and time, I would take on the project of changing out the tranny etc, but I don't so I won't:grin: But thanks for all the info!!!
  11. I still don't understand this. Something is wrong....period. I have made several 2" kits for several of my cars . I make them with NO camber correction and they do not wear tires. I mean yes, they do wear the outside a little faster than normal but I have driven thousands and thousands of miles and still have the same tires. Something has to be wrong somewhere! oh, and I made mine with a sawz all and a hand drill, so they definitely weren't professional
  12. So what were the issues with the SVX autos? There is one very close to me for sale for 800. The guy says it shifts slow and goes into gear slow. Is there an easy fix or.....?
  13. I'm gonna see what I can do!!! It all depends on what time you'll be coming through. It so hard to get time off work:mad:! But it would be best if it were later in the day, but again, I'll see what I can do, I'd definitely like to meet you!!
  14. My wife and I along with the same group of friends went to my family's camp in down east Maine this weekend. Had a great time, did a lot of fishing, had great weather and had a chance to do a little wheeling!! Here are some pics!
  15. Looks like a fun place. I like the river, which one is that?
  16. You couldn't have gotten a new window?? Are you going to make it look clean and like it's supposed to be that way?
  17. modifying a cars wiring harness to fit a different motor. In this case taking a EJ22 harness and modifying it to work with an EA82/81 wiring harness
  18. So I put the new chime module in and there is no change! So there is 45 bucks wasted. I have no clue what it could be and no clue how to fix it!! I guess maybe I need the car alarm remote, but from what I understand I need to get one and have it programmed at the dealer....well that's a problem because its not running and the closest dealer is 2 hours away!! Any more ideas? Thanks
  19. It actually bolts up to the lower radiator support so it can take some decent hits. I have tested mine plenty, and it has survived:grin:
  20. I wasn't talking about any spots with captive nuts. He was talking about stacking the crossmember spacers so I was talking about the through bolts, but you're right about ones with captive nuts!!!
  21. Mine came with a hand full of change and it only had 90,xxx miles:grin:
