  1. And I would actually need it to fit the EA81 with fuel injection!! If that's possible for you to fab something like that up, please let me know!!
  2. So Bill, is that something you could make me and sell?!?!?!
  3. Look for this in both the retrofitting section(for the motor swap) and the off road section for the rest. The search function is great here also! Good luck
  4. Yeah, I wanna know if it's possible to get the EA82 power steering pump to bolt onto the EA81. Thanks for the bump!
  5. This will though http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FENDER-subaru-BRAT-82-primed-truck-auto-part-NEW-RH_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQhashZitem250415028725QQitemZ250415028725QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  6. Man that thing is awesome!! Great find. And even better price! Sounds like you lucked out on that one!! I'm jealous again
  7. They don't have to be tied together it just adds some extra strength. As for the bolts, I found a store near me called Fastenal. I'm sure there are locations other places too. But they had all sizes in all grades in all lengths! I got some 7 1/2" grade 8 metric thread bolts that were somewhere around 1/2". So they are out there. Good luck!!
  8. That thing looks awesome! I still can't wait to see it finished. On a side note, you look a little like Nicholas Cage.
  9. Oh so your using a different model Subaru spring? That/s cool! Can't wait for pics!! And a list of what you exactly used
  10. I bought a set of brand new Subaru rear springs for one of my old Loyales and they worked great. Good luck with it!
  11. Those look pretty cool. How snug are the struts in those holes? hopefully pretty snug. How hard were they to make?
  12. The flat side should face the bearings, and yes, if the bearing was pressed in by the inner race, then it could damage the bearing, it should be pressed in using the outside lip of the bearing
  13. I know I do, BUT, it's so bad in Maine that it doesn't matter! Yes it slows it down but rust always wins over time:-\
  14. Exhaust systems are a little pricey. Look on ebay, sometimes you can find good ones on there. Also check out Nasioc.com
  15. If you like the boxer rumble, you can make it sound a little better with a nice cat back exhaust. I love the way mine sounds!!
  16. I paid $190 bucks for an 89 EA82 touring wagon. It was mint other than very loud knocking in the motor. I was still able to drive it home 1 hour and 30 minutes and put a new motor in it!! I still kick myself for ever selling it!!:-\
  17. You can easily replace just the fuel filler. Remove screws from behind gas door, and remove screws in wheel well behind rear tire, and then remove the filler tube from rubber hose that connects to gas tank. You can get them new for a little over $100 bucks. And is somewhat easy to install, it will take some time, but well worth it
  18. HaHaHa, yeah I know! But thanks for clearing that up! I actually didn't know they were that different.
  19. When my speedometer doesn't work, my odometer doesn't work. And I believe it is the cable on my 89 EA82
  20. Yeah but he has posted a lot of stuff for sale.
