  1. As long as you can get the pads on that's far enough. But make sure that the piston is turned the right way. They should be horizontal.
  2. They are actually used for moving the tops to the inside. This is to take care of the camber issue that you would get if you just dropped the strut straight down
  3. Got mine today!! Thanks!! It looks great!!!
  4. Sweet XT. I dunno what it is, I just love the sound of a BOV!!!!
  5. Bend the a little to get some of the tension back into them
  6. When I did my rockers, I bent up sheet metal. I used metal cut out from the roof of another Subaru. Just take lots of measurements and bend away! It does help to use a sheet metal break though
  7. In Maine, we don't need the title if it's over 15 years old. Just a bill of sale!
  8. :lol:I love it, you gotta rub it in!! Send the rust free hatch body to the crusher. what a guy. It's good to hear you were able to keep your silver one though. It turned out real nice.
  9. Well I believe that's a slant radio console. But the rocker, you just cut them open and weld new stuff in. Make sure it's jacked up evenly so the body won't be tweaked at all. But you don't have to drill any spot welds, just cut out and weld new in. I did both mine on my Brat
  10. Ahhh, so it's a Legacy, that's why 14's fit
  11. With narrow rims and wider tires you have less of a chance of pinching the tire on the rim and blowing out your sidewall. As long as you use a decent tire, it shouldn't be a problem
  12. I know you can get replacement panels. I know a dealer near me can get them.
  13. Yup the tail lights are stock. IIRC a lot of people swap their older ones out for ones like yours. Good luck with it!!!
  14. Man that sucks!! So is the right stuff available? Where can you find it?
  15. Except on something like my RS. It comes with 16's but has the same brakes as an outback so 15's clear just fine.
  16. You will need 15's. The 14" wheels won't clear the brakes on the outback. Also are you talking about an Outback with a lift? Or a Legacy with Outback struts?
  17. The oil pumps between an auto and a 5 spd will be the same, so if it's different than whats on your car, there is a good chance that they gave one for a different car, or motor.
  18. Yeah I'm sure that's when it blew. But yeah it's all good now!
  19. OOOOOh, pretty! Why no WRX? I'm sure it's because of the insurance etc. Nice car though. Is that an '06?
  20. Yes it is, and I just fixed it. I looked into the main fuse panel and found the fuse labeled ALT. I pulled it out and sure enough it was blown. So I used one of the spares and it's all good!!! Thanks for the reply though. I'm just happy it's all fixed!
  21. So I got my alternator rebuilt and he tested it, and I installed it on my car and it's good. But, my battery light and my e-brake light stay on all the time. I have let it run for a long time, turned everything on, and it works great, so I am just wondering why these two lights are staying on. Any ideas?
