  1. Most reasonable source for EJ22s would be a Pull n' Pay yard--probably a couple of hundred dollars, depending on where you are. Hopefully Larry (lmdew) or some other swapmasters will chime in with ideas. Post your location in your ID--people might have some specific suggestions then. Good luck.
  2. Welcome aboard, Nick. (From another Nick!) Y' found a good place here--lotsa' good, helpful folks. Congrats on your great find. By all means post some pix when you can.
  3. Hey, dude--your wagon looks so "at home and natural" in those snowy field scenes. Beautiful! Is that Cherokee Lake by any chance? If so, my Brother-in-law and his wife live on a bluff over on the Grainger County side, down near the dam.
  4. Emily--so good to hear your voice again! Sorry to hear about your back. Hope all is well now.
  5. Welcome aboard! That's a good looking Subie--Enjoy!
  6. Ahhh--nice memories! My first two Subarus, a pair of '85s, were that body style. I loved them. And great pix--thanks for sharing.
  7. Welcome aboard, Stenwood--and congratulations on your Loyale wagon. (Got any pix to share?) You've found a great resource here. Enjoy!
  8. Battery disconnect for a couple of hours should do it. Are your diagnostic cables under the dash disconnected?
  9. Outback was introduced in '95 as a specialized sub-model of the Legacy--hence, it was a "Legacy Outback." But it was so popular that eventually (can't remember what year) they just dropped "Legacy" from the designation!
  10. Should be no difference in O2s between wagon & sedan (but can someone else please confirm that . . . just to be sure!) Suggestion--look on Amazon or even E-bay--generally really good prices. And if you have any questions on compatibility, post a link here and we'll help guide you.
  11. Thanks, Razor--the info helps. I certainly don't believe in "throwing parts at problems" but years ago I had a starting/running problem that I tracked down to the ECTS. Put a new one in and the car immediately ran like it was brand new--and has been ever since! Hope it does the same for you. And congrats on your new taillights--it's almost like a bonus for your trip to the yard, isn't it!
  12. What is your Legacy--year, mileage, tranny? Any history of repairs done? General tune-up history? Maybe a throttle body cleaning, IACV (idle air control valve) cleaning, PCV replacement, ECTS (engine coolant temperature sensor) check or replacement, vacuum hose inspection, new air & fuel filters--any or all might help!
  13. Welcome aboard, Evinrude. And congrats--that's one good looking Outback! Enjoy!
  14. Welcome to the USMB, Shikani--congrats on your Forester. Post some pix if you have a chance. You've a great place here--if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask.
  15. Aloha, Cristian. Welcome to the USMB. If you have specific problems or questions post them in the Older Generation Forum--I'm sure you'll get help there.
  16. Welcome alastor555. Wow--you went "All In!" Nice looking lineup.
  17. Welcome steelheadkiller--you've come to a great place to get help. Post your questions in the appropriate forum (Newer Gen for the '92, Old Gen for '87) and I'm sure folks will respond.
  18. Welcome to the USMB, Rek. Is your Legacy AWD? Did the problem develop and get worse over a period of time? Sounds like it might be torque bind.
