Welcome, Cory! (Now if you will thank me for welcoming you that'll be one more!)

Welcome, Derek. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. You might want to post in the USMB Classifieds, or even in the Older Gen Forum too.

I remember the Fisk brand from when I was a kid! Found this bit of history on Hemmings: Founded in 1898 by Noyes W. Fisk and son Harry, the manufacturer of bicycle tires soon became a major player in automobile tires. By 1916, Fisk produced 5,000 tires per day in its Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, facilities. Despite introducing the highly successful Safti-Flight tire in 1930, the Great Depression weakened the company. By 1940, Fisk was acquired by U.S.Rubber, which changed its name to Uniroyal in 1967, which merged with B.F.Goodrich in 1986, which was purchased by Michelin in 1990. Still, Fisk-branded tires are marketed today. Fisk was famous for its advertising icon, a sleepy pajama clad little boy with a car tire over his shoulder and carrying a candle. The slogan--"Time to Re-tire!"

Good looking rig, Spencer! Eric told me about it last weekend so it was a kick to see a pic pop up here. Aloha.
