  1. Welcome to the USMB, djehrenr--you've found a great place here! Actually technical discussions should be in the Newer Generations forum, but as you can see, folks are anxious to offer help!
  2. The hard clunk you get on slow speed turns--are you sure it's not torque bind?
  3. Welcome to USMB. You need to post your question in the Newer Generation forum to get responses.
  4. I'm no tranny expert but--I don't think people are saying flush 3 times. They say to drain-and-fill 3 times. Draining only removes about half of the old fluid, so doing it 3 times in a row gives you a reasonable change of ATF.
  5. Welcome to the USMB, Barra. Congrats on the fix-up. Got any pix of Dearest Brumby?
  6. "Usually not safe?" That's a broad statement. If chosen carefully, inspected throroughly, then driven and maintained responsibly they are no more unsafe than any other car on the road.
  7. Welcome to the USMB, Vtoldguy! Can't tell you what all those lights mean. But since it's a 2016 model, I'd assume you bought it new and that it's still under warranty. I'd get it back to the dealer ASAP and say "Fix it!" Good luck.
  8. Nice looking brat, 65stangy. You have every right to keep a silly smile on your face! Enjoy your beautiful little ride.
  9. Welcome to the USMB, romakrechet! Lots of good information and good folks here. Got any pix of your car out in the countryside? Would love to see some.
  10. Welcome to the USMB--great Subie resource here. Enjoy that WRX!
  11. Good looking machine, Heartless. Congrats! Hope you can work out all the little problems and enjoy many years of happy trails.
  12. Agree 100% with Rooster. But I would simply add the MMO to your old oil, drive a few hundred miles, then drain and do the new oil and filter. I use 10w-30 synthetic in my '95 EJ22 Legacy--purrs like a kitten! Good luck.
  13. Welcome to the USMB! You'll get better chances of an answer if you post this in the Older Generations forum.
  14. Welcome to the USMB. What year is your Impreza?
  15. Don't underestimate the importance of the ECTS--it feeds vital info to the ECU and can affect the engine's running. You might consider testing or just replacing it.
  16. I patched a plastic tank on my wife's old Nissan Maxima with JB Weld. It only lasted a few days but gave me time to order a new radiator. Take Fairtax's advice and order a reasonably priced aftermarket replacement.
  17. Welcome to the USMB, Audiomesh. Great place here--I'm sure you'll find some help from good folks here.
  18. Consider removing the IACV and giving it a thorough cleaning--I did my '95 years ago and it's still running like new!
  19. I'd say just start a new post there.
