Greetings:

I have a couple of questions for ya if you don't mind. I have a 1986 Loyale wagon w/ Turbo but the engine is toast. Body is very good.

I'm either going to rebuild this engine as a non Turbo with non Turbo Cams and pistons.

Or I can pick up a used ea82 non Turbo carberated engine w/ 179,000 miles.

Then I thought I could use the Turbo heads from my engine to get the 135 hp +-.

Pros and cons would be less initial cost, ($250) for the engine plus gasket set. But I would start with a used engine. ???

Rebuild on my engine would be $550 +-.

Will also put in a dual range trans.

Any thoughts suggestions or ideas are more than welcome.
