  1. the buttons remind me of the 85 DL I had... hmm, maybe I'll crawl under their car at o' dark thirty and see what the dif tag says
  2. yes, I think the spare is called an ej22
  3. Roger that, it's not an RX or an RS. I realized it was a GL. The d/r is interesting. Also seeing the rear cargo light and slightly different hvac buttons was odd. But 90K? body was a whole lot less rock chipped and hammered up than mine, could believe it was an original 90K miles and not an instrument swap There would be a certain amusement in having two of the same body style, I could have one lifted and one for the pavement. Think of the interchangeability of the spares too bad I couldn't store my old spfi and s/r, they got crushed when the wagon met it's maker
  4. seems that the only way I can afford an engine, harness and ecu is to just hunt for the whole car I haven't committed to anything yet, but if I do get the car I will put it up for parts here
  5. that was a fun clip, any chance you could translate the Hebrew captions for the non-Hebrew speakers? like to get in on the jokes
  6. BTW the OBW has 65K on it and was T-boned
  7. do have AC yes, would like to keep it (100 F even, yesterday)
  8. Whoa Numbchux, great pics! hmmmmm.... now I have to consider if I want to take on the impossible or am just retarded I'll look at numbers... wasn't someone else running an ez30, gloyale maybe?
  9. ... left a note on the windshield if they ever wanted to sell it 90K MILES on it, maybe I can get in the 'hey that ea82T really is a POS' club or the 'mine blew up too, told you so' mailing list
  10. DID it again! Same corner, downhill to the right with the cruise control on, rolling under compression - hit the exit of the corner and watched the smoke absolutely ROLL in my airstream damn that's cool
  11. same as the er27 issues... what series is that anyway? the 2001 H6? EZ30D?
  12. okay still laughing still laughing that made my ribs hurt see, that's the kind of straight forward no BS answer I like. I have to admit I was being lazy when I posted that... just a what the he// lets slap 'er up there and get a response right on oh man, can I use that at work?
  13. http://www.ntpog.org/reviews/filters/old_filters.shtml
  14. found a wrecked 2001 OBW with low miles on an H6 3L 24v dohc, (that's the interference engine right?) whats the 'swapability' of that compared to the trusty ej22 into the ea82? :-\
  15. not sure what difference any of it makes, GD?
  16. hmmm, most of it is from the lower lip of the lift seal around the striker, some of it is from the lower door seals - I definitely slowed it down, only have to wipe my windshield every three days now think that I'll foam tape all the trim, like was suggested, and skip the 'cargo pit' seam taping stuck my arm out the window with cell camera, doesn't really do it justice - freakin' cloud follows me for 20+ miles every day had an idea this morning to add a lip to the underside of the top of the spoiler to kick some air down past the tail lights and see if the breaks the vacuum behind the car enough to keep the crap from coming back in the dead air zone and through the seals (as well as look into making an adjustment to the striker and latch of the hatch)
  17. I need one too, the left. (I'm a) Day late and a dollar short on this thread... as usual... anyone got one lying around in 'Rio Red' paint code 946?
  18. rock auto has them (studs) listed by car, you can get them in five packs
  19. his site has changed a bit, took a look there too
  20. is there anywhere close by that can break them loose for you, clean and lube the threads and put them back on safe/good enough to get home? those would be a mother by hand
  21. any one know a source? nothing at 1st Subaru
  22. I got the bright idea to pull it out and paint the base plate black... too dark to take a pic, no flash on cell camera. Not sure about the black, I'll get a good coat of road dust on it and see what I think then. 4 lo in 1st and 2nd is pretty nice to have, glad to have the finishing interior bits
