  1. Think I'm good on the latter, left zero wiring forward or through the fire wall, or inside the dash for that matter... only thing left was the gaggle at the driver kick panel.
  2. I had thought they would be spliced into the EA, tempted to dike them off at floor level - but I'll follow it to the end... can't be any worse than pulling that dash and heater core out of the way to chase everything else. I'm overdoing the pull, to have everything I could possibly need, even though I know most of it will be scrapped. A lot easier to sort on the bench after the fact...
  3. ok. last thing to do then, all the other fun has been had guess I could have mentioned '93 Legacy, ej22E, 4eat to be more helpful ty for the quick response, I'll be back on it tomorrow
  4. Pulled wiring for a swap harness, any reason I need to keep the SMJ connector and follow it aft?
  5. Nah, they like me. I buy them tires in an age of budget cut backs.
  6. omg, yeah, just what I need when the Sheriff pulls me over for doing 5 over the speed limit...
  7. Last Fall I put a longer blade on the driver side of my EA82. I used a 17" on the right and put a 19" on the driver. There is room to do it. The thing was that it seemed to drag the motor down a bit and chatter more easily. This Fall I put an 18" on the driver but dropped to a 16" on the passenger. It works fine, no chatter, no drag. I was thinking that I could probably have used the 19" again, with the other side reduced. It is nice to have the larger swept area on the driver side.
  8. wow - really clean, always glad to see another person from East WA
  9. I've always liked an aircraft look... depending on the size of the switches and their purpose, how about an overhead console like a pilot's?
  10. Hey I dig it. Could you center the letters 'RS' under Loyale?
  11. nope just disengaging, listened to it for many years, still worked fine when I pulled it for a d/r 5
  12. I dunno, my S/R 5 clunked for years when disengaging... I'm sure it could have been looked at and some money spent, but it always worked and seemed otherwise okay.
  13. something as boring as crapped up injectors? no codes, no cel?
  14. Geez GD, I have two, a SPFI and a Grenade with the pin pulled 'T', they are both doing fine. I just drive them. Don't wheel or race and they have been faithful. Yes they both weep some oil... yes they are not perfect... but they are hardly the piggys you are loathing here.
  15. Yep. I had a big fight with mine over dust (search dust leaks). Take the rear cargo wall off and tighten all the brake light housing nuts uniformly. You can also loosen the screws and lower the hatch latch by shimming the latch with large enough washers to accomodate the dimple around the countersink. This moves the latch down 1/8" inch, or the thickness of one washer and tightens the hatch seal. (Yes I read you are not leaking there )
  16. Next year I'll camp with who knows what vehicle...
  17. More pics, from Yakima a few non brats that came for fun too
  18. The RX made it to Yakima with no drama, I'll meet you guys at Miner's tomorrow and tag along back through the canyon to Ellensburg. Looking forward to meeting everybody.
