When you do purchase air tools make sure to get: 1/2" drive impact 3/8" impact 3/8" air ratchet 1/4" air ratchet or cordless impact Working in an independent shop, the tool i use the most is my 3/8 air ratchet. comes in very handy. and i want to get a 1/4 inch drive battery powered ratchet/impact.
  2. get a test light or volt meter and see if power gets to the fan. It could be shot.
  3. oh yeah, i also am looking for a distributor. I believe they are all the same for EA-81's?
  4. Hey, does anyone know if there is even a slight possibility to get parts for a dual carb ea-81? Like an air filter box and a throttle linkage? Just let me say, before the obvious questions start, MUAWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
  5. 91 Legacy with auto tranny when i drive up hills and take a sharp corner, the engine cuts out, until i take my foot off the gas, then it starts back up again and runs fine until the next corner going up a hill. what would cause this? fuel filter? Its not fun when your tearing around in the hills and your car dies
  6. check to make sure all of your body and lift bolts are tight, with emphasis on the control arm bolts.

  8. replace tranny or go with a full rebuild at a reputable tranny shop.
  9. It's to be expected. That is part of the deal with a 2". You could drop the cross member, that would fix it.

  11. leave it stock. EA82 is plenty reliable and has more power than the EA81. You also would have to convert fuel injection to carburetor, and that is taking 6 steps back for one step gained.
  12. I would recommend bracing them. A lot. Use 2x2 square tube. easier to work with.

  14. The seals in the master cylinder are leaking. you need to replace it.

  17. One of the lifters is still making a racket, after 50 miles of driving. Any suggestions? The head was never disassembled so i have no idea what happened.
  18. off of what year of outback? do i need to re-align it afterwords?
