I probably could do it. I just have no idea where to hook things into, or what gets capped off. Is there a good write up somewhere? with lots of pictures?

Is there anyone in northwest Washington who can help me do a weber swap? I'd normally go to one eye, but he is working all the time now. Thanks! John

I'm trying to decide what color to paint the rims of my car. Its a black EA82 GLSW on ugly gray Nissan steelies. I'm thinking about black, but i would rather have color like green or red. I'm also going to paint a piece of my grill guard the same color. What do you think?

Something else I would like to throw up here is my discovery of Hammerite. Its a paint that bonds to rust and then prevents said rusty item from becoming more rusty. I am going to apply liberal amounts to the rusty patches on my car.

I think they're kind of hard to see during the day. But other than that, I like it.

I'm trying to think of where to put the front license plate, but I don't have any ideas. I don't want it in the middle of the guard.

It's not done. I cleaned off the rust and put on a coat of paint today. I get paid on Friday, so i will get more steel to make a guard for the lower portion. I'm thinking some steel pipe that will fit underneath and wrap around the sides of the front of the car. What? could you please edit this with some punctuation? :-p

It's assembled and attached! Now i just need to clean off the rust and paint it. And add some more side protection.

the bottom of the guard will be cut off

Freakin rain. cant weld stuff till it stops. So far: Sort of what it will look like: Still a lot of stuff missing. Bracing and such I am aware of that. The upper thing is mostly for looks. And doors of other cars.

My dad took one look at my designs and nicknamed it "stumpkiller" Time to get welding!

I pulled a grill guard off a junkyard Isuzu pickup. Its the perfect width to wrap around the front of the car. Really lightweight too. only about 20 pounds Gonna modify it to replace the the plastic bumper and throw on some extra lights. I also want to incorporate a skid plate into the front to protect the now exposed radiator. Pics when i get home! What it looks like

No offense to anyone, but I am a broke a$$ high schooler with no money whatsoever. I will take what I can get for as cheap as i can get it. Plus my car doubles as a wheeler wagon as well as my DD, so cheap axles are a plus for breakage in the middle of nowhere. John
