  1. Not yet for me, my bathroom remodel project is taking way longer than I had planned... everything is here and waiting, just need more time!!!
  2. I am 99% certain that this is the case, I will check when I get home tonight.
  3. I couldn't remember exactly where it went so I put it on there. no ill effects.
  4. I hooked mine up to the water pipe bracket. worked fine. Ben
  5. as far as the HLA's, they take some time to pump up, mine took about 20 minutes at idle and then a "spirited" 5 mile drive then all quiet. could the water be residual from before the rebuild? possibly a leaking intake manifold gasket? Ben
  6. I sent a set and I had them back in about a week from the time I sent them. about $55 shipped for a set of 8. Ben
  7. Make sure and grab the speedometer cable too. MT cable is longer than 3at
  8. do the five speed swap, everything bolts up. If you have access to a parts car that is complete that is a definite plus. I swapped my 91 to a 5sp and I love it. Ben
  9. I thought about doing that, do you have any pics of your setup? Thanks, Ben
  10. here is a good online source for mandrel bends... I think there is a forum member that works here. Columbia River Mandrel Bending Ben
  11. Broken drivers side timing belt maybe Pull the distributor cap off and crank over, if the rotor doesn't turn that is probably it
  12. Sorry for your loss. I recall hearing about this on the local news, very sad.
  13. sorry for digging up an old thread, but did you ever get an adapter from those guys? or has anyone ever used one of these? I just priced it with shipping its approx. $110/us shipped to my zip code. wondering if anyone has confirmation that they fit/exist... Thanks Ben
  14. looks like a bent shaft....:-p looks like you found the remedy :drunk:cheers
  15. the video on their website is a swap in a vw vanagon. I would love to have one of these in my Loayle :slobber: one day...
  16. I'm not in need of single port heads, Thanks for the offer.:-p I just bought a custom single port unequal length header after an intense search for a stock exhaust manifold (all the junk yards around here cut them up) and no one in the area has one they want to get rid of. what if you just picked up some pre-bent exhaust tubing at the auto parts store and weld it up? or local exhaust shop? Good luck with the move across country. Ben
  17. where are you located? I know that trying to find a single port EJ exhaust manifold is damn near impossible.
  18. No problem i can dig up part numbers for my h4 and h1 housings if you want.
  19. in stock form the inner lights are an H4561 sealed beam single filament 50w light. the outers are an H4656 you could however use an H4 conversion for the inner as well but I am pretty sure that you would not be able to aim them like the outers. Ben
  20. I will be using it in a 91 Loyale... in about a month. I will update with lots of pics:cool:
  21. cool! if you have a photobucket account it has an email address that will automatically upload to your album so you can share it. I hope I can make some progress on my wagon soon:horse: maybe see you at WCSS this year. Ben
  22. So I received a box from Oregon this afternoon, :headbang: sube101 (Steven) does incredible work! Stainless Single Port UEL Header I can't wait to get it in the car and see how it sounds. the engine still needs to be cleaned up, but the header fits great and there is plenty of clearance for the oil filter sandwich plate.
  23. received a package from UPS today, thanks sube101! you do great work.
