  1. I am not too close to North Bend (about an hour away) but I could meet up with Dave on the eastside like Bellevue or Kirkland if he is willing to do so. Ben
  2. the high beam housings that I bought for my wagon are an H1 bulb which only has one pin and it grounds through the base of the lamp. on the left I was able to find a 135w bulb I am going to try out in the high beam coupled with a 55/100W H4 low beam, the 135w will be controlled by its own relay and switch only allowed to be turned on when the other high beam is activated. I will be building my own harness and only using the factory wiring to trigger the relays for the new lights. Ben
  3. you can just make your own circuit... this is just an example Link I have always done this when upgrading, I trust this more if I go to higher wattage bulbs.
  4. it has been done the opposite way OBS style handle in an EA car (popular when you do the rear e-brake 200sx caliper swap), probably would not be too hard to swap them. the real trick would be to get both front and rear to work together with one handle, definitely not a bolt in but that would give you the ultimate in holding power. Ben
  5. nice choice on the wheels! looks good:cool:
  6. I was able to retain my front ebrake when i did the five lug swap on my loyale. I used 94 impreza àwd front spindles etc. The loyale calipers swapped over to the impreza brackets using the ea hardware. I think the trick is using it from a impreza that came with 13" wheels. Ben
  7. That is correct but the backing plate is different, and larger diameter rotors,
  8. Registered this morning, no confirmation message yet. just sent email. Hopefully I can get "some" of the huge list I have completed before the show.
  9. You can still buy chlorinated brake cleaner in some states. Some like California have outlawed it. CRC brake clean in the green can is non chlorinated and the red can is.
  10. cool, I have been thinking about that too. I will put up some pics after I get it. is that wheel a 350mm? the hub should be here in about 2 weeks! I am still looking for that wheel that I have... haven't used it for 10+ years and I have moved 5 times... ugh! nice progress btw!
  11. the XT is four lug just like your loyale... XT6 is 5 lug
  12. that steering wheel looks good, I am waiting on my hub adapter it is in route from Germany:headbang:
  13. I think he was referring to post #28
  14. here is a pic of an EA82 Cylinder head and an EJ Single Port exhaust flange... WAY different
  15. Bend, Oregon. Central Oregon, about 3 hours from Portland.
  16. you will need to bypass the inhibitor switch in the automatic shifter. If I remember right it is the two black/yellow wires need to be connected. Ben
  17. dang lurking for five years? Welcome to another local
  18. ECU... Ignitor... MAF... the best thing to do is get ALL the wiring from behind the dash. don't cut anything, unplug all connectors so they can be identified... there is alot of good write ups on this subject.
  19. Good to see the project progressing! After seeing your xt6 in person i have no doubt the rx will be awesome! Ben
