  1. Dont get me wrong i had to cut the front and back edge of the fenders with a lil bit of hammering. U cant just slap on a 235 and do nothing else. i hope this goes to the pics. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=118642 The tires are baldining tires as pointed out. Remember that there is no lift on this car. wouldnt be a good idea to put good tires on it...
  2. Ill prolly be out in the shop building the lift to get away from family. P.S. I wasnt tryin to get anything stirred up. I completly understand. This is a great site with a ton of information.
  3. i put 235's on my 91 loyale with no lift(as of yet) and the power and torque both fine. still drives the same all the way around

    question

I used a hand sledge, a center punch, a brass punch, a drill press, two drill bits one small and one close to the size of the lug stud. Then i used a reamer to finish off the size of the lug stud holes. Plus whatever tools it takes to get you wheel and you hub off.19mm in impact socket, impact, 24 mm socket for the castle nuts on the hubs.(i think thats what size they were) and a pair of pliers to pull out the cotter pins on the castlenuts on the hubs

    question

I just did the 6 hole hub drill. Its not hard if you have a the right tools. took me about an hour and a half to two hours to redrill all of mine. Really simple.
  7. i thought for sure there would be more replys on this. I didnt think id be the last to post on it thats for sure. Guess its not all that interesting really.

    4 inch lift

I have been doin some reading and i have seen people pulling motors out for a four inch lift. Does a guy have to pull the motor and for what?

  14. im a complete idiot. I figured it out.....
  15. i might sound stupid here but what the heck is a sticky
  16. Could you use these blocks to make a 4 inch lift? If you can what all would i have to lower?
  17. thanks for the input guys. ill post more pics when i get started/finished.
  18. Oh and the price of the a/t's were 50 bucks for four of them
  19. I wont be doin much off roading. If i do it will be very light stuff. My dad builds lifts for what we call mini trucks. Ill have to add a pic for the idea of that. He is gonna help me build a lift. I cant decide if i want to do a 2 inch or a four inch. You can look at this site to get an idea of a mini truck that im talkin about. These arent the ones he builds. just the first website that popped up when i did the search. http://cajunminitrucks.com/
  20. it does have a lot of rust! I bought this car 7 years ago from a guy in moline illinois. I paid 550 for her and been drivin it every day since. I have put on brakes a/c belt spark plugs and a set of tires. I bout it with 97500 miles on it. she has 113000 on her now. The guy i bought it from had the tranny rebuilt new halfshafts and ball joints put on. the trans had 13000 on it when i bought it. I drove it 651 miles straight shot from iowa to oklahoma with no problem. Its probably the best car i have ever owned. its probably the last car ill buy for 500 bucks that will last as long as it has.
  21. I forgot to as turbone do you think i could fit the 235/75/15's on it with no lift?
  22. thats the worst rust thats on it. The other side has some in that same spot but its not as bad. The entire car has rust around the wheel wells but that is the worst spot. I was thinkin i might just do a two inch lift
  23. Im planning on liftin my 91 loyale up about two inches. I have some wrangler a/t's im gonna use. Let me know what you guys think. Heres the pics... http://s1102.photobucket.com/albums/g451/91subaru
