  1. thanks tons for the website link ive got to subaru's that need ea82t's that is the best price i have seen yet, thanks a million
  2. I personally like snapon's brick type obd2 scanner nothing like reall time information
  3. I have a 1993 impreza with the ej18 in it and its gone tits up i also have a wrecked subi with a ej22 i was wonder if it a direct swap or if it would require and modifications before i start this project
  4. then do you have an extra set of turbo heads in need either of the to sets if you have some ill buy them off you
  5. yeah i deal with local machine shop everyday, its nice i can get quite a discount. Subarus are kinda a new thing to me ive only built 4 ea82s and 2ea81 turbos, its just that most customers don't want cracked heads no matter what i said about they will be fine they want not cracked ones the i explain the price of having them welded and they ************ there pants lol its a loose, loose situation
  6. do you still have the ea82 turbo model heads??
  7. thanx, thats were they are cracked i have 4 pairs but they are all cracked i didn't think that it is a problem but it is nice to have some reasuance.
  8. I am looking for a passenger side cylinder head for my ea82 single port intake any body have an extra one laying around or a pair i will buy them off you if you do. Silas
  9. To do a transplant you would need a bigger radiator, oil cooler, not to mention the computer system, and full wiring harness, it is all doable, just depends on how much time you want to put into it. I just built a ea81t for a brat, i hope to plumb it into the car by next friday. Yesterday i did a head gasket job on a ea82 and had it back in the car that same night, and delivered it to the costumer at 8 oclock this morning. I personally believe subarus are by far the easiest vehicles to work on.
  10. Hey i am planning on doing an 84 2 door hatchback, but i am not sure were i can buy a lift kit from or if anyone has the plans for one, so i can build it myself, that and were do i find decent tires for it??
  11. No you can't just change the intake and the exhoust. The pistons are a dish type, to compinsate for the force feeding of the turbo. You would have to pull the heads off, then pull the pistons, and replace them with the stock non turbo pistons. If you are interested in a EA81 i have one and am willing to sell it for 450 its a good used one. email me at silo118@hotmail.com
