  1. My old jeep grand wagoneer had a one in two out fuel filter which served as the return line. The center out went to the carb and the offset one was the return. Should work just fine unless the filter media is used for a higher fuel pressure. Wouldn't be too hard to find out if you wanted to go this route. Good luck. Joe
  2. I messed around with plugs and wires and now it's running great with just a little bit of tick on the driver side. driver side hla bleed and I'll be good to go. thanks everyone for your help. Joe
  3. so it appears the plugs are firing. It only started running bad after the hla's got bled. Should I just pull the rocker arm again and start over?
  4. Plugs on the passenger side smell like fuel so they are probably not firing. I accidentally left off the the spark plug wires after I bled the hla's and started it. Do you think I fried the coil. I have the timing cover off so I will check the timing. Thanks for all the help so far joe
  5. 96 2.2 just replaced the hg and put her back together. ran fine fine but really noisy so I bled the hla's on the passenger side. Buttoned it up and now it's running bad and the cel is flashing. water is coming out of the tailpipe not coolant. Pleas help. thanks in advance , Joe
  6. Probably about 10 miles. I can take backroads the whole way so I wouldn't be going over 45 mph.
  7. there wasn't any water in the oil but the radiator was definitely low on coolant. I squeezed the radiator hoses and I couldn't hear a gurgle so I guess it could be empty.
  8. 86 gl 10 turbo, The owner says the turbo is out so it smokes really bad. i haven't heard it run but it is supposed to. Is there any way to disconnect the turbo and still be drivable? I just want to get it home so I can work on it since it is going to get towed by the city soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, joe
