here be my pugs on the rx. yeah, its the only pic i have the entire rx, but you also get to see my impreza i need to get pics of it with the stock wheels on it, they look great since i painted em all black last year,

obviously i love mine now i just need to fix a few little bits on the body and then get some money to build my not stock engine,

i personally like the ea82t engines. i know them in and out and they are easy to work on. they are also pretty torquey. mine is pretty quick when it wants to be. dont get me wrong, they are very tempermental, they are like girls, very easily angered when neglected.my first engine popped cause of improper storage and rusted rings, the second one started to go when i made the mistake of letting the local meineke install a steering rack and some one knifed the top radiator hose to try to force me into more labor, then it finally went after another hose ripped in half on the high way and cracked the heads. the engine i am running now isnt top notch either, but it will work until i start working agian and get the new one built. basically think junk yard engine right now.

i got my rx all fueled up and its behaving itself, so hopefully ill be up there sometime in the morning.

the only down side to the kit for the wrx is that you have you cut a couple holes in the car to run the pipes and slightly modify a couple bits of piping. mainly streightening out a few bends and adding length to a couple others. the biggest pain on mine is where the pipe comes through the old battery box. the hose that came with the kit was too short to make a good seal, so i had to use a piece of radiator hose from my friend's semi truck. but once i got that in place, it never came loose again. for the most part, the kit fit rather well in the rx. but like i said, there will be some moddifying required to make it fit.

i am hoping to be there satuday morning sometime. guess it all depends on when i wake up and how soon i can be ready. but it looks like i should be able to make it. all sorts of happy, i get to come out and play:headbang:

i talked to her jusst a little bit ago, she sounded like she was ok with it. looks like ill be able to come out to play. now lets just hope that my rx decides to behave this weekend. i should be fine as long as i dont have to sit in traffic for long. although reinstalling the mechanical fan helped a lot with it getting warm when sitting. i can bring some hotdogs and buns, lol. i have left over from my cookout last week.

my rx likes to act like that randomly, like it blows the hg and then fixes it the next time i take it out. i swear the cars are just like girls, the get jealous of other cars and forms of transport. if i drive my impreza, the rx acts up, and if i drive the rx, the impreza has issues.

you havet o be carefule where you use plastic. too close to the turbo and it will melt. im sure you could use it on the cold side ofthe intercooler, but you have to check it frequently for cracking. aluminum is recommended due to its light weight and ability to be bent into various shapes. that and its strong

i am hoping to try to make it up there, but i still hve to convince my mom to let me. unfortunatly, even though i am 23, she still has the call since its her gas card i use. if i could get assistance with fuel funding, i should be able to make it, granted, it might only be like half a tank that ill need. im only like an hour and a half away. im going to try to convince her to let me go. but on top of worrying about gas prices, she is also concerned about the fact that i have cancer. she thinks that it will make it different from every other trip ive taken in the last year. eh, well see i guess.

i might see about trying to make my way up there depending on how i feel. i am still recovering from my biopsy last week and i still cant lift anything nor can i really do much of anything. hopefully ill feel better, at least well enough to come up and just say hi and check some things out. i guess i am lucky that im not very far away. i think its only like an hour and a half or so.
