Occasional stumble problem>EA82T
subyrally replied to SmashedGlass's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
mine has done that since i built it the first time around, no matter what intake manifold ive had on it, it very well could be the coolent temp sensor. i still need to replace that with the new one i have sitting in the glovebox,. -

MSD Blaster 2 install ?
subyrally replied to SmashedGlass's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
if its going on the rx you have listed in your profile, then its just a direct swap. i tihnk the only time you need the ballast resistor is when you have a points system in your ditributor. the newer cars are electronic, not mechanical, so no points to burn. or something like that. -
i know that wedenesday is a wierd day for a cookout, but i think that will be the cookout just to celibrate the fact that i lived trough my first opperation. i think we will cook some food, and then watch some movies either while we eat or after . looking at seeing casino royale and maybe another action or horror flick. i am thinking maybe shaun of the dead or something like that.

i got a big stick if that helps/:lol:

awww, isnt it purdy.

yeah, this is kinda a spur of the moment type thing, the frederick cook out will be later in the summer, i guess ill have to make the end of summer the official time for the frederick cookout. thanks for your concern man. i should be fine, i just hope it isnt lymphoma, not that im worried about surviving a form of cancer but i just cant imagine myself hairless. that would just be odd.
-
yup thats right, i have to go to the hospital next tuesday for a biopsy of a large chunk the docs found in my chest. i am thinking that after all is said and done, whether it turns out good or bad, i need to have a cookout. i think if anything, just having friends come out will go along way towards recovery and such. what do you all think? i think that we could have a bit of fun. maybe watch some movies or something after that. who knows, i just like to have fun.

tyres-whats good in the wet?
subyrally replied to erik litchy's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
ive run fuzion tires, thay are ok, but for a few $ more per tire, id reccomend nitto nt450's they are probably the best tires ove run on either of my cars. i have em on my impreza nad my rx and they get great traction in everything from the dry, to gravel\dirt, to mud, rain and even snow. i love em, i really do. -

hmmm, interesting, cant wait to see how well it all works out.

awyeah, thats the spot. that makes me happy.

acording to subaru, at least when i asked, there is no actual gasket for the oil pan. you can buy em aftermarket all day, but i think they used rtv sealant. at least from what a dealer out here and a couple shops told me. eh, always double check if you can.

i have a hood with the 04 wrx hood scoop on it, but the hood is rusted to hell and i got bored with some spray paint so it looks like bad.i had it on the car for all of about a day or so, lol.
