  1. hey!! why dont sedans count?? besides, 4wd is fun, rwd is fun, who really cares, just dont get anyone hurt and go have fun.:burnout:
  2. i would love to see some shots of the old school cars with cages. i am planning on caging my rx once i get the engine and rust fixed. then the cage, and body work.i cant wait to get the car running again.
  3. http://www.rally703.com/ try there, there is a link at the top to dl last year's races as well. all in high quality as well.
  4. you must getvideos of this, and they better be high quality too. that thing is nuts, i love it!!
  5. if its a 92 impreza, then you found yourself a very rare car cause the impreza wasnt made till the 93 model year. other than that, 144k on the ticker isnt bad for a car of that vintage. you might be looking at $1500-$3000 depending on condition.
  6. swing and a miss, the ej25 turbo is dohc, the only sohc turbos were the ej22 from the legact turbo and the ea82. unless they had some other turbo engines elsewhere in the world. as far as the ej25 turbo and non turbo head gaskets, im not sure if they would match as the turbo model should have a semi closed deck and should have redesigned coolant passages compaired to the n/a version which is an open deck block. at least from what ive seen.
  7. not unless you get the mazda "b-series" badges. b2300 for the four cylinder ranger, b3000 for the 3.0l six and b4000 for the 4.0l six cyl.
  8. sorry to barrow the thread, but what would it take to get the fuel rail setup that you have on that rx?
  9. i tried top mount, but i dont like heat soak. and it didnt fit right under the hood.
  10. i think i have the largest fmic on a rx. its a kit for an 04 sti nevermind that goofy bastid with the capn morgan pose. and the intercooler goes to the top of the bumper skin, i think its only like 3\4" below the plastic to make room for the bolts and metal beam.
  11. here is the intirior in my rx, at least the dash anyways.
  12. looks like fun, keep up the good work man.
  13. hmmm, let me know if you go, i wanna see it too, im only a few hours away.
  14. depending on a few things go, i might be able to make it out this year, doubt ill have the rx though.
  15. you, sir, amaze me. how is it that you can always find rare parts and high end toys?
  16. i know this is an old thread, but that looks like the speedo dial in my rx, not a ford.
  17. lets see, the most common problem ive seen in these engines would be oil leaks. then head gasket/cooling issues. ive had a bit of everything, blown piston rings (engine sat without being preped), blown headgaskets twice. (first time, there was a few leaks and i made the mistake of having meineke do work on my car, they sabotaged it by cutting a small hole in the radiator hose. the second time, i blew a coolant hose for the turbo on the highway, ripped in half it was, thus i lost all of my coolant on that and had to go about another mile to get somewhere i could stop.) then there are oil leaks, sofar, mine only leaks from the pan, cant stop it for some reason, even with the good gasket makers.i usually see cam and crank seals leaking and periodically the rear main seal leaks. all in all, these engines arent bad, mine only failed due to outside help, or my own screwups. the next engine that goes into my rx will be built up for reliability at power. basically, im goingto go with a touch of overkill on the build up.
  18. all it is is a $.45 resistor you can get from radioshack. it will damage your car, dont waste your money.
  19. have you got a link to where these can e obtained? i think ill go that route once i get my rx back on the road.
